Usually, Hitomi is woken up by the alarm, or once in a blue moon—Chaewon’s soft voice telling her to wake up and have breakfast with her. It’s strange how Chaewon’s soft voice always managed to lure her out from her pleasant dream.
But this morning it feels different.
Hitomi wakes up with a pounding headache she isn't a stranger to. But she’s not immediately greeted by a worried short-haired woman handing her some painkillers and a drink. She has to process the strange feeling until she realizes she’s —and she’s on top of a bed she has never seen, with a woman lying just beside her.
Memories flashed back to her, and she hits her own forehead, groaning as guilt starts to surface in her disorganized mind. She glances back to the woman—who has her eyes wide open, her lips pulled into a crooked smile.
“Good morning,” she says, cheerfully—too cheerfully.
Hitomi sputters not a greeting, but a question: “Wh-What did we do last night?”
“You spent a night here and we had ,” the woman—no, Kim Minjoo, answers nonchalantly, the corner of her lips twitching
