"Can you cook this for me?"

Minjoo blinks before she takes the hand-written recipe Hitomi is giving her. With eyebrows knitting together, she reads it lines by lines until she fully understands what kind of dish Hitomi wants for her dinner.

"Why would you want to eat this for dinner? You know I don't like this, Tomi," she says with an expression that showed unmasked disgust. "I don't want to cook you this."

"Then I'll cook you something different for dinner," Hitomi offers with a smile. "Please, Minjoo?"

Ah, that puppy eyes of hers. Minjoo can't help but let her stubbornness crumble.

"Fine," she exhales, defeated. "But don't blame me if it doesn't taste good because no way in hell I'm going to taste it."

Hitomi smiles wider. "Sure, love."

Her smile, although wide, looks sad.

Minjoo dismissed this as her mind playing tricks on her.

Hitomi is coughing blood the moment she finishes the bowl of the said steaming dish. It only takes a second for Minjoo to hold her lover, trying to find the cause of her sudden collapse.
