The summer 2020 miniseries I've got planned is--drumroll please--a Red Velvet fanfiction based off of the pilot episode of one of my favorite TV shows, Leverage. Now in case you haven't heard of Leverage it was a TV show that aired on TNT from 2008 to 2012 and it was recently announced that a reboot is in the works. Hence why this fic is now a thing, I got super excited. 

Wriitng this has been a bit of a challenge for me as the show itself is fond of flashbacks in the pilot and having to swap between characters and situations like that on the fly is something I find I struggle with. But what is writing if not improving, right? Or something like that...

Anyway, there's not a whole lot of background that needs explaining so this will be short and sweet. The Leverage crew consists of five roles, perfect for our ladies since OT5. Will likely not have any romantic pairings since this is a one-off short series. But plenty of OT5 fluff and shenanigans.

Irene is the Mastermind, she takes the role of leader and is basically the only person alive who is able to successfully wrangle the other four. She's previously worked for SM Insurance company as one of their fraud investigators and has, at one point or another, chased the rest of the members as they commit crimes. It's Irene's job to make sure these lone wolves play well together.

Seulgi is the Hitter, she's the one responsible for physically protecting the rest of the team and providing...encouragement through her martial arts. Seulgi may look sweet, but she's capable of disarming a fully grown man in seconds. 

Wendy is the Hacker, she's reponsible for the team's technology and for breaking them past any locked doors that may stand in their way, whether that be virtual or physical. She is incredibly smart but has a weakness for pretty girls.

Joy is the Grifter, she's the "face" of the group and she uses her diverse acting skills to lure in marks and con them out of everything they own. She joins the crew after their first job together when Irene realizes they need someone with more social skills to be able to pull off their next scheme. 

Yeri is the Thief and the maknae of the group. Both Wendy and Seulgi think she is certifiably insane. Yeri is one of the world's foremost shadow thieves and has stolen priceless artifacts and artworks to the tune of well over 300 million USD.

This miniseries will be five chapters at the most. (Also a reminder for me to not exceed this limit...) I look forward to sharing it with you all!
