Taeyeon

I’ve been living with Tiffany for 17 years now. The moment I learned how to stand, Tiffany was there in the picture, crawling on the floor. The moment I learned how to use a spoon, Tiffany was there crusting her biscuit. The moment I learn how to climb, Tiffany was there making her first step. The moment I learned how to color inside the line, Tiffany was there scribbling on the floor. There’s no moment in my life that she was not present. Well, that’s because we live in one house. But if you thought because we’re family, well..not really. We have different parents. We’re just living together because our parents are close to each other. Our Mum is best of friends the same with our Dads. So they decided to live together in one big house. Well actually, it was the Hwang’s Mansion. My parents were just lucky enough to cohabitate with them. According to Mum, they started to live together when Tiffany’s Mum and Dad married. Her Mum insists that my Mum should also live with them, that’s the year when my Mum is already pregnant with me. So to cut the introduction short, Tiffany became a constant part of me. We became the best of friends. But since I’m a year older than her I tend to do a lot of rebellious activity. I may be a little playful and easy go lucky but I make sure that I am someone she can rely on. Nothing or no one will get in our way. But it all changes when I kiss her. I thought it was just an innocent kiss..but I was wrong.

Let me tell you why we are like this. My Mum Clodette was hired by my Dad, Stephen Hwang to be their company lawyer. Caroline was my Mum’s bestfriend and also her partner in the law firm. Jungkyo is my Dad’s bestfriend is working for him in the company. Caroline and Jungkyo fell in love while my parents are working hard on one of my dad’s case and eventually my parent’s did too. Junghkyo and Caroline had Taeyeon and then my parent’s had me. Ten years later my parents had my little sister Seohyun but we call her Juhyun. Since Taeyeon and I are born just a year a part, our parents decided to raise us together. They figured the more love us kids had the better. Taeyeon and I couldn’t be more opposite. We may fight a lot but we are best friends. Taeyeon is mischievous and charming. I am smart and like to play by the rules. The only time I get in trouble is when Taeyeon is involved. And that’s why we got here.
