Chapter 1: Red-nim! A lot of people enjoy your fics, and you also have a lot of fics to update, so i get that now that there is too much time, suddenly this might feel like a duty to fufill instead of a hobby. We will be waiting, but you can take rests and just enjoy other people's fics or just do whatever you want! love you!
Chapter 1: Author-nim, this is a good move to start this "non-fic" and write about "yourself". It is always very nice authors and readers/authors and authors/ readers and readers can make conversations.
Actually I am starting something similar but is a bit about reading reviews. Initially, it is called "IZ*ONE Fanfic in My Pocket". It is a self-assigned project so that I can keep my momentum of life.
I understand very well how frustrated your world is suddenly reduced to your apartment/house because of the pandemic. I started to experience a semi-lockdown since last November when our police fired teargas all over the community, and then we experienced the pandemic since Feb. It has been super depressing.
I noticed I have lots of emotional ups and downs even we CAN go out in our city. I feel boring and restless, even writing and reading fics cannot lift me up (and our girls don't have any public activities, so I am grateful OTR post videos nearly every day). It seems that we have lost the meaning of life. But then now I am quite lost, as an HSP introvert, it happens I don't want to go back to the society after this...(how paradoxical)
And mind as well, I have spent months writing 100,000 words of an original story, and "no one" read my story on Medium and Wordpress until "QUARANTINE" (I don't mean I attracted a lot or readers, but at least someone is reading it, that's why I really love you all in AFF). You can imagine how frustrated it could be. Writing is a very lonely journey, maybe you should rest a bit first, and I am very willing to listen and discuss with you here.
Chapter 1: I also have the same feeling as you. When I first write my fanfic, I felt really excited and want to keep on update. But after myself busy with other things, I lost my interest in writing. I have tried to write again but I fail. Then I have a thought of giving up on writing and just want to abandon my story. Almost 1 year stop give an update on my stories.
Chapter 1: It's ok author-nim! Take a break (have a KitKat even) if it makes you regain that spark for writing again. Don't worry, there are a lot more authors out here that will supply the fandom with premium CONTENT XD
