"I only came here to tell you that tomorrow will be the day I end your children's lives, and when Jia is dead, Baekhyun will also have to die because they're soulmates. And so you know, there will be no food for you two today because I'm so mad and when I'm done killing your children, I will also kill the two of you so that you can stay dead for real this time around and my revenge shall be complete." Shin laughed evilly and walked away, leaving Jia's parents in tears.

When she was outside the small house, she felt less satisfied. The thought of her brother suffering in jail was too much of torture for her. She couldn't do anything to save her brother, not after the awful evidence of many young girls Kwansoo had molested was out and sent to the police. 

Apparently, Kwansoo's life as well as his career was over. Thinking about the drastic fall of her younger brother stirred up so much hatred for the detective. She felt so bitter and she slammed the door so hard before walking back into the room where she had kept Jia's parents for two whole years.

"I'm so pissed right now, and because of that, I will bring your worthless children here and kill them in front of you, but that won't be tomorrow. Lucky you, right?" She smirked, but she had tears in her eyes.

"I will deal with that stupid detective Sehun, and make sure Sunhee is molested right in front of him, only then will he feel the pain I'm feeling right now, and I will kill him right after the deed is done." With that being said, the angry woman left the small house and went back to her car.

When she was well seated, she made a phone call to her goons and gave out her orders on what should be done to Sehun on the eve of that very day. A smile of satisfaction washed over her face when she got a befitting reply. She started her engine and drove off.

Sehun was busy on his laptop while Sunhee was fast asleep in his room. He changed her bedroom to his room to avoid her getting another cold attack, although she was already feeling much better.

The detective yawned and stretched out his arching arms. He had been working on his laptop for over three hours and his muscles were hurting already. He glanced at the wall clock and sighed when he realized how much time he had spent just looking at the screen.

He closed his laptop and stood up to return to the bedroom he now shares with Sunhee. He switched off the light in the living room, and as he was heading up the staircase, he suddenly felt strange. He halted his movement and looked around just to be sure if he was alone, but he sensed that something wasn't right. After all, he's a trained detective, he could easily tell when something is off. 

Without wasting any more time, he rushed to his room and gently tapped Sunhee who seemed to be sleeping peacefully. "Wake up." He muttered to her ears and she blinked her eyes open.

"Sehun, what's wrong?" She asked, but the detective smiled and gently caressed her hair.

"Don't worry, nothing is wrong. Come with me, there's something I want to show you." He held her hand and led her towards his huge closet. Sunhee didn't bother to ask any question, she has grown to trust Sehun more than anyone, and she just followed him behind.

The detective opened the closet and he quickly pulled his drawer open and collected two small remotes and he turned to Sunhee who was just looking at him with Innocent eyes.

"There's a secret room behind this closet, I want you to go in there and sleep peacefully, there's something important I must take care of." Sehun went towards the window and looked out to see what's going on and he saw two armed men walking suspiciously into his compound and by their appearance, he knew they were assassins.

He quickly went back to Sunhee and pressed one of the remotes and a secret door appeared. 

"Take this remote and make sure you don't press it, just keep it with you. I will be with you in thirty minutes." He tried to sound calm, but Sunhee could already tell that something was definitely wrong.

"What's going on?" She finally asked and Sehun sighed. He knew she was going to ask before he already felt her fear.

"We're surrounded by assassins, but I have my weapons and I can defeat them. So plea
