THE FULL STORY Revolt is the latest boy group to climb the ladder of popularity and success by the renown Kpop label Noir Entertainment. For years the boys underwent vigorous training and preparation for the one special day they would be able to show the world what passion and fire was pent up inside them. In October 2017 they finally hit the stage with their debut single, One Shot, and quickly caught the attention of adoring fans with their dark concept and dynamic choreography.

Shortly after debut came the first EP, Bulletproof, that brazenly revealed more of the members individual talents in solo self–written songs as well as the group’s overall cool, mature, and independent attitude. As their fandom grew by the hundreds and they soon got a small taste of idol fame, what the boys never expected was for their main track, We Are Bulletproof, to drive them straight into a spiral of newfound success. The track was discovered by international fans, streamed across various platforms religiously, and skyrocketed to #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts within a matter of a few weeks.

In lieu of Revolt's sudden fame, they began international promotions with a variety of languages and kept on honing their craft with influences from all around the globe. The boys sacrificed time, labor, homes, and their own wages just so they could put out the very best music that represented them in creative and genuine ways. They were desperate with the hunger for self expression just as much as the world was eager to receive what they had to offer.

Right as the hype was at it's peak, the group suffered a series of even more trials, tribulations, and not least some juicy scandals! Sleazy paparazzi dug deep into the backgrounds of all Revolt's twelve members and discovered some shocking secrets nobody had quite expected. The members as well as Noir Entertainment's CEOs received blackmail from the paparazzi; Give them substantial money or risk getting exposed.

Will the power rookies of Revolt be able to overcome a sea of revelations, scandal, and hate? Or will they climb their way up top and prove themselves stronger, skillful, much more resilient than their pasts?

AUTHOR'S NOTE This will be my first ever idol applyfic and I am so excited to start developing this story with you all! I really wanted to create a groupfic that would touch upon some controversial topics within the kpop industry and the world in general.

This fic will have dark and rated themes. I will give chapters an M rating and list off any triggering warnings when it is necessary. However, not all of this fic will be rated as I plan on having some lighter moments.

Not only that, but my vision for Revolt includes having a lot of international influences on the group as well as being able to show off the members' individual talents, struggles, and lives; especially focusing on that tough transition from a group of nobodies to rather popular idols all living under the public eye.

Lastly, I was very inspired by many artists and concepts. I'd like to shoutout cruisr who has a few applyfics such as Sowon and U/IDOL which gave me the interest and courage to work on developing my own ideas for Revolt.
