It was already two in the morning when Seo Soojin left out a muffled sigh against her pillow and punched it out of frustration. She had a schedule very early in the morning with the other girls yet she hadn't manage to fall asleep.

Trying to free her mind from useless thoughts that could be disturbing it, she tossed and turned in her new bed for so long her body started aching and her eyes hurting. She had listened to an entire playlist of chill music, went to the kitchen and drank a cup of chamomile tea - nothing was enough to make Soojin's brain rest, even though her body was completely exhausted.

Wearing her favorite pajamas, the pink one with cherries prints, Soojin sat up on the edge of the soft mattress and looked around, tying her black hair in a messy bun on the top of her head. She exclaimed in frustration once again, her arms falling on the sides of her body, heavy, sore from all the day activities. There were only a few hours left until she had to wake up again. She was completely screwed.

Feeling hopeless ,Soojin had stated the others were already asleep. Ok, that was a problem. It was Yuqi's turn to stay with Haku and Mata in the other dormitory so she didn't even had company to get through the night.

It was ironic how her first week in a room just for her wasn't going as she planned, not a single bit. She thought it would be like heaven to have some privacy, but she ended up feeling alone night after night and upset after several hours trying to sleep. Unhappy, she got used to end her nights fumbling with her cellphone in the dark, playing some boring game or doing anything that could take her mind away from the real reason of her insomnia, then passing out from exhaustion when she was no longer able to resist. On that specific night she ended up watching some iTalk videos on G-idle's official YouTube channel, laughing every time Shuhua appeared on the screen. Whether with her cute accent or acting jealous when Miyeon approached them, that woman had a talent for comedy...and for being adorable, she thought to herself. A dozen videos and several minutes later, Soojin's thoughts lingered on Shuhua for a little longer than she expected, the feeling of emptiness insistently crushing her heart like an invisible claw. If only Shuhua was there...

That's when it hit her.

It was clear that she was missing Shuhua's presence, her loud voice and her antics before heading to bed, the same ones she tried so hard to pretend she didn't like but loved deeply. But she had the slight impression no one really believed Shuhua's behavior annoyed her, she felt pathetic for lying to herself for so long. She kept lying to anyone but to herself this whole time. Soojin slapped herself mentally, her subconsciousness mocking her for being so dumb. In their promotion period they used to spend day and night together but it was when they were home she needed Shuhua the most. When they could be themselves and just act like they wanted.

If only I could feel her scent, see her face, Soojin said to herself internally before opening her chat window with Shuhua.
