The Making Of (Korean: 의 만들기) is a 2017 reality girl group survival show on SBS. It is a program that aims to form a 5 member girl group out of 55 female participants from Japan and Korean, training them in singing, dancing and acting in the span of four months.
The show premiered on the 31st of September 2017 to the 31st of December 2017. The new group is called 3FMW, withe the meanings of three sentences, For My world, Friends My world and Fans My World,each lines signifying the importance of friends and fans in the girls' world. The show was created under the collaboration of SBS and a recently established entertainment industry, L.E Entertainment (Founded by former Teen Top Member, L.JOE). The group will be given a chance to sign an exclusive contract into L.E Entertainment once debuted.

Concept
As its name suggests, The Making of is quite similar to any survival show wherein for a total of 4 months, the participants will receive lessons in not only singing and dancing, but also acting. Participants had been recruited since July at twelve schools both in Japan and Korea. Only female trainees aged 13 (Korean age) and above who are not trainees of any entertainment company are allowed to join. The voting systems are a mix of votes from within trainees and also live votes on every episodes. The decision to form a 5-member girl group had been decided from the begining of the show by the producers.
Hosting the show from the very begining to the end, L.E Entertainment had sent their very own special MC, Sozen Lee. Acting as the show's vocal instructor and judge is Ailee . Dance is instructed and judged by 1MILLION Lia Kim and Mary J Lee. Acting as the rap instructor and judge is Former member of 2NE1 (Disbanded), CL. All of three judges are always in each episode instructing and judging the contestants from the very first episode.The Acting instructor, Lee Hanee only appears during the end of the eight episode and fully starts mentoring by the ninth and tenth episode,

Foreword
Quick Note:
Hello everyone this is NE_Gon. I'm finally able to write this long over-due (almost five to six years) story that my old schoolmates had made back in High school so, I figured since I have the time now, I could finally write it here! Of course I'm always editing part here and there quite often since this is probably one of the most difficult thing I'm trying to write (Like there's 55 participants but Of course I won't write from ALL points of view. I might just pick a certain character and write through hers.
Also disclaimer: Yes I am aware that this is technically Idol School and Produce 101 mashed up together but any resemblance are purely inspired by or just fully coincidence. I do not own anything except my OCs and this story idea/line. Any existing characters used are purely for fanfictional purposes!
