"Do you really have to go?"

Areum smiled lightly toward the older girl and leaned back against the headrest. "I promise that I'll message and call you." She assured but Krystal couldn't help but whine and flail her feet. "But that's different from actually being here." She whined while the soloist laughed and lightly hit her with a pillow. "Come on, it's not like I'm leaving forever. A year is going to fly by before you even realize it." She stated while Krystal adjusted on the bed until she was laying next to the soloist and facing her, the frown still evident on her face. "But I just got you back." She whispered and Areum's expression melted into a small smile as she turned to wrap her arms around the older girl.

​​​​​​"I know that, but I can't refuse what the CEO ordered." She muttered quietly while threading her fingers through Krystal's hair while the girl rested her head against her chest, her hand pressed lightly against her collarbone as she ran her thumb over her warm skin.

​​​​​"It's just so unfair." She heard the actress sigh, making her hold on her tighten. "I waited a year for you, and now you're being taken away for another year." She finally uttered out and Areum pursed her lips together as she rested her chin atop the other's head and let out a breath. "Think about it this way. You weren't sure when you'd see me again last time, but now you do. This time around, I'm coming back in one piece where you don't have to worry every day."

​​​​​"Of course I'll worry. You're not with me."

​​A light laugh escaped the younger girl's lips before she shook her head. "Have you always been this clingy?" Krystal just smiled while she wrapped her arm around the latter and grinned. "Not really. Just with you and Jessica unnie." She admitted with a playful smile and Areum giggled as she ruffled her hair. "Aigoo, and I thought I was the younger one."

​​​​"Yah!" That earned her a smack on the shoulder, but despite that and the glare Krystal was giving her, she couldn't stop herself from laughing out loud, even when Krystal started to repeatedly hit her shoulder. "God, for someone who has amnesia, you sure bully me a lot like it's second nature." She huffed and Areum simply grinned after she calmed down from her laughing fit and winked at the older girl. "It's hard not to." She admits, earning an eye roll.

"You're lucky you're cute." Krystal muttered as she buried her face into the crook of the soloist's neck and inhaled the familiar scent, a smile tugging at her lips as she felt the arms around her tighten. If she would be missing this for another year, then she was going to enjoy the time they had together while they had it, but as she thinks back on the tour, she couldn't help but frown when she remembers the look Jennie had sent her the night she dropped Areum off.

They may not have interacted with each other, but there was an obvious tension between them due to the connection that was Kim Jongin. But even when she tries not to think about it, the girl was close to Areum, so she's only worrying about the moment that Areum decides to hang out with all of them present, she would be forced to face the younger girl. And if she and Areum do go further into the relationship like they had initially hoped, she was scared that it would create some problem between the soloist and the Blackpink member, unaware that the entirety of Blackpink would actually have a problem if the moment arises.

"Unnie, when are the others coming home?" Jisoo picked her head up from the couch to look at the brunette, brows furrowed as she waved the toy she had picked up from the ground. "I'm not sure. Lisa is mentoring some trainees, so she might be late. Jennie had a photoshoot and I don't know when that will end. Rosé is with a friend, so she might be home a bit later." She explained, her being already home since she finished early in the afternoon.

Areum was on the floor, flipping through randon channels without really showing any interest since she was bored. She was cooped up in the dorm for the whole day since Krystal was busy with her sister. She had yet to go out without anyone else aside from the five girls, but she did want to know more about the friends she supposedly had that she did not recall. There was Jimin and the rest of his group even though they had broken up. It seemed their bond was much closer than she thought since they seemed to care for her so much. Jimin had texted her, stating how the boys were eager to see her again.

​​​Aside from him, a group called Red Velvet was also inviting her out, often asking how she was doing. One of those that cried at her arrival was the maknae of the group, who had clung to the soloist when they met by chance after Blackpink decided to take her out to a cafe. Yeri and Irene spotted the group when they arrived and the young girl burst into tears when she was able to get a good look at the soloist, which melted her heart as she hugged the girl tightly while gently soothing her that she was okay.

"Yah! Song Areum, are you listening to me?" The call of her name caused the brunette to snap out of her thoughts and looked over to the older girl, blinking before she offered a smile. "Mianhe, I was thinking about something. What did you say?" Jisoo playfully rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. "I'm here, looking after you, and you ignore me? What kind if treatment is that?" She teased before the latter giggled. "So dramatic."

Jisoo would just toss the toy and hit the top of Areum's head, smirking when the latter turned to give her a glare. "I said we should go on live and talk to the Blinks and your fans." She repeated before laughing at the confused look on Areum's face before hitting her with a pillow. "Yah! What is it with you and hitting me?" She complained before she reached over to snatch the pillow away and hugged it against her chest.

​​​​"Because you keep spacing out a lot. What are you even thinking about?" She questioned and Areum ran her fingers through her hair before she decided to go ahead and tie it into a messy bun. "I was thinking about the friends I have, or had. I wanted to spend some time with them before we leave for your tour." She admitted, making Jisoo smile as she made space on the couch when Areum made a move to sit next to her. "Anyone in particular?"

​​​"Actually, yeah. I remembered about the time we saw Irene and Yeri." She said with a smile and Jisoo nodded her head, smiling brightly when she recalled the event. "You and Yeri have always had such a nice relationship. Sometimes it feels like you're actual sisters." She claimed and Areum couldn't help but smile at the thought before she patted Jisoo's arm. "Come on, let's get your beloved fans."

​​​​​"So bossy." Areum stuck her tongue out as she grabbed her phone and then went to the app. She fixed her hair as they waited for people to start logging in. "Hi Blinks! Come on, come on, Areum and I want to see you!" She cheered as the number of viewers starts to rise. The brunette rested her arm over the older girl's shoulders before she was lightly pushed off. "Yah, I know you're taller than me but no need to make me your armrest." She squinted her eyes at the younger girl, causing her to burst out laughing. "I wasn't- that wasn't my intention unnie." 

​Jisoo huffed as she looked to the camera, pointing an accusing finger toward the giggling soloist. "Do you see this? Just earlier, she was ignoring me, now she's making me an armrest! I don't get enough respect." She said in mock seriousness, making Areum to laugh harder. "Unnie, unnie, stop being so dramatic. I think I'm going to die from laughing so much." She proclaimed and people have started to comment on the duo, making Areum smile. "Why, thank you. I'm pretty sure you're cute, too." She grinned to the camera and Jisoo rolled her eyes. "Yah! Stop flirting."

"Everyone else is out. Areum has been in the dorm the whole day while I got here this afternoon." Jisoo explained and the latter nodded in agreement. "Since I can't walk on my own, leaving the dorm isn't very encouraged. These girls will skin me alive before I make it anywhere." She stated while crossing her arms and Jisoo smacked her shoulder. "We do it because we love you, pabo."
