There was a long pregnant silence in the office after the Interpol agents left. Byul moved to the window to stare at the view, Sandeul goes to the door and stands there while Hyejin remains by Wina's side.

Neither woman spoke for a while.

Wina sighed and swiveled her chair to stare at Byul's back. Hyejin didn't flinch. After years of being with Wina and Byul, she's learned what was expected of her.

Slowly, Wina looks at her and sighs.

Wina: Hyej, do you really want the divorce?

Hyejin lowers her head and answers with a silent "Yes". In the corner of Wina's eye, she sees Byul flinch. It seems she's not ready to let go of her wife. Wina sighs again.

Wina: And you, Byul? What do you want?

There's a long pause before Byul says anything. But when she spoke, you can clearly hear the pain in her voice.

Byul: I want what my wife wants.

The frustration in Wina's voice is also clear as she groans out.

Wina: You know what? I am not your marriage counselor. God knows you two need to go to one. But, I'll save us face, yet again. Hyejin will move out of your house today, she'll stay somewhere else while I take care of our other problem. I would like it, Byul, if you used this time to figure out what you really want. Not because it's what your wife wants, not because it's what I or my brother want but because it's what you want.

She stands up and heads for the door.

Wina: You have both been living in the past for far too long and I'm tired of having to babysit you. I will do this one last time. You have 100 days to get both your together. Think of this as a divine family intervention. After 100 days, you guys decide what you want to do. Either way, I won't be holding either of your hands when you make that decision.

She reaches the door to exit the office and Sandeul opens it for her.

Wina: Come with me, Sands. I want to talk to you in my office.

Sandeul raises his eyebrow but leaves with Wina just the same, leaving the couple alone inside the office.

The silence between Hyejin and Byul isn't new. But it was still painful. Byul's mind is reeling after hearing her wife confirm that she wants the divorce. She didn't want it. But what can she do, it's not like anything she does now will make a difference, especially now that Hyejin's mind is made up.

Byul clears .

Byul: What do we do now Hyej?

Hyejin: What we've always done. Ignore each other.

The comment stings. But there is truth in it. She messed up. Well, she's been messing up for a while, but now it's come to a point where they couldn't keep pretending that everything is okay between them.

She sighs and turns around to look at Hyejin who had her back to her. She closes the distance between them and wraps her arms around her soon-to-be ex-wife.

Byul: Hyej...

Hyejin: No, Byul. Stop.

Hyejin quickly untangles herself from Byul's embrace and looks her in the eyes.

Hyejin: We can't keep doing this. We can't keep going on like what we're doing is normal. We're just hurting each other. And I am so tired, Byul. I'm so tired of everything. You keep saying that you'll do what I want, but when I tell you exactly what I want, you go around and say you can't do it. I'm your wife, Byul. But I feel like I'm just a stranger to you.

Byul tries to reach out to her again but Hyejin moves away shaking her head, fighting her tears.

Hyejin: I know I made mistakes, Byul. And I'm sorry. But I needed you. I wanted to feel that you still love me. But you never do. Not anymore. And maybe I got so used to the feeling that I was your priority that when you stopped making me feel that way, I started looking for that feeling again. And it's wrong, I know. But I wanted to feel loved, Byul. I wanted someone to need me, to want me. The way you did.

Byul: But I still love you! I still want you Hyej... So much. You have to believe me.

Hyejin hugs herself and looks away from Byul. She couldn't bear to look at her anymore.

Hyejin: I don't have to do anything anymore, Byul. Just let me go. Let me go and let's move on with our lives.

Byul: Is that what you really want, Hyej?

The pain in Byul's voice could never reflect how her heart was breaking right now. She wants nothing else but to wrap her wife in her arms and tell her how much she loves her and that she doesn't want to let her go. But she doesn't do that. And that was her fault.

With bated breath, she waits for Hyejin's reply. The sound of a deep sigh escaping her wife's lips didn't escape her trained ears. Hyejin is giving up. And there is nothing, absolutely nothing she can do about it now.

She watches as Hyejin walks slowly to the door, not even bothering to answer her.

Byul: Hyej...

Her wife turns to look at her with tears in her eyes.

Hyejin: No, Byul. It's what I need. I need you to let me go.

Then she turns back to the door and leaves Byul alone in her office, where she spent most of their marriage in anyway.
