"Just make sure to follow her and report to me everything. Ayokong may makakaalam nito, maliwanag ba?"

Lisa's POV

Nakaupo ako sa couch habang hinihintay ang kakambal kong nasa banyo. For the first time in forever, I woke up before my sister will. Kaya ayan, siya yung nahuling mag CR to prepare herself for breakfast. 

Last night, I talked to my Dad at ikwinento ko yung mga nangyayari dito. Nagpapaalam den ako na hindi ako makakabalik agad sa Pinas because of Jennie. Naiintindihan naman nila ni Mom and they are very supportive of my decision. I also told Babs na pwede na siyang umuwi dahil baka may naiwan siyang mga trabaho dun but she insisted to stay with me. Sabi niya dito lang siya sa tabi ko as long as andito ako. Kaya inayos niya na lahat ng mga naiwan niyang trabaho at ipinahandle sa mga associates niya yung ibang mga kasong hawak hawak niya. She doesn't have to do this naman but I admit laking tulong ng presence ng kapatid ko dito. 

Nang matapos na siyang mag ayos ay agad na kaming lumabas ng kwarto para pumunta sa banquet hall ng palasyo. Binuksan ko yung pinto at nauna na kong lumabas kay Rosie. We walk along the hallway nang nagulat na lang ako ng biglang may humila saming magkapatid. 

"What the fu---" 

I wasn't able to finish what I am going to say when Jisoo put her hands on my mouth to stop me from talking habang hinihila niya kami sa isang tagong sulok. 

"Ssssshhh... Shut up you two! I need to tell you guys something" sabi niya sabay lingon sa paligod.

"What the is happening Jisoo?" pabulong na tanong naman ni Babs. 

Jisoo once again checked the area before she looked at us and talked. 

"I came here to warn you guys" bakas sa mukha niya ang pagaalala. 

Napakunot naman ang noo naming magkapatid. Warn us? for what? 

"What do you mean?" tanong ulit ni Babs.

Jisoo took our wrists and she pulled us closer at saka siya bumulong sa amin ni Babs. Masama ang kutob ko dito ah. 

"Earlier, while I was on the veranda of my room watching the sunrise, I saw Kai talking seriously to two men in the garden. Those guys really looks suspicious to me coz I haven't seen them here before. I have a bad feeling about this. I don't trust Kai. I know he's up to something, so you guys better be careful around him" Jisoo worriedly said. 

Natahimik ako sa sinabi ni Jisoo at hindi naman yun nakawala sa paningin ng kapatid ko. 

"Lis, are you okay? Is there something wrong?" tanong ni Babs. 

They are both looking at me now waiting for me to spill what's on my mind. Should I tell them? Should I tell them about last night? Pero hindi naman ako sigurado kung tama ba yung kutob ko. Last night, I thought guni guni ko lang yung feeling kong may sumusunod sakin but now I guess tama ako. Baka nga may sumusunod sakin. I think mas mabuti na kung sasabihin ko sa kanila para pati sila makapag ingat. 

Huminga muna ko ng malalim bago ako magsalita. 

"I'm not sure if I'm right but last night when I came out from Jennie's room, I felt like someone is following me" 

I saw the two of them clenched their jaw and both looked very worried. 

"I knew it! I really hate that Kai. I know we're not sure yet, but I'm sure he's up to something. So, be vigilant, okay? And Lisa... please look after Jennie" pakiusap niya ng diretsong nakatingin sa mga mata ko. 

"Don't worry Jisoo I won't let anything bad happen to Jennie and thanks for informing us about this"

Jisoo nodded her head and the three of us started walking to the banquet hall.

Kung ano mang pinaplano mo Kai, sisiguraduhin kong hindi ka magtatagumpay. Hindi ko hahayaang may gagawin kang hindi maganda kay Jennie o sa akin. 

Pagdating namin ng banquet hall ay naroroon na ang mahal na hari, si Jennie, at yung dalawang mokong. We greeted the King goodmorning and he invited us to sit on the left side of the table. Kunot noo naman akong umupo sa harapan nila ng makita kong napapagitnaan ni Kai at Francisco si Jen. Jen smiled at me but she's wearing an apologetic look which I responded with a smile. Hindi naman ako galit sa kanya. I know naman na kung may choice lang siya, she will choose to sit beside me. But she got caught of the moment at alam kong wala rin siyang magawa para itaboy tong dalawang kumag na to. She keeps on looking at me, alam kong nag aalala siya na baka magalit ako, kaya naman I gave her a genuine smile and I talked to her using my eyes and told her that it's okay and I'm not mad. Mabilis niya namang nagets yung gusto kong iparating sa kanya kaya she responded to me with a simple nod and a beautiful smile. 

Habang kumakain, di ko maiwasang magnakaw ng tingin sa kanya ans that's when I saw Francisco putting some foodon Jennie's plate. Nakakairita kasi ako dapat gumagawa nun! Ako dapat yung katabi niya at hindi ang mga mokong na to! I looked at the King curious to see his reaction and I gritted my teeth when I saw him smiling at the sight of the two. Mukhang mabigat talagang kalaban tong si Franciscp dahil mukhang gustong gusto siya ng mahal na hari para sa mahal ko. 

Pero kahit na! Ako pa rin ang mahal ni Jennie! pangungumbinsi ko sa sarili ko. 

Tanga! Wala kang laban pag pinili yan ng hari para kay Jennie! Prinsipe yan tandaan mo! sabi naman ng kabilang konsensya ko.

I shook my head to erase those negative thoughts in my mind kasi walang naitutulong. Tinignan ko na lang ulit ang mahal ko para hindi kung ano ano ang pumapasok sa isip ko. Pagtingin ko ulit sa kanila, nakita kong pinipilit ni Jennie na pigilan si mokong pero ayaw papigil. Lagay pa rin ng lagay ng pagkain sa plato ni Jen. Gusto pa ata nito pasakitin tiyan ng mahal ko! I glared at him habang nagaalalang nakatingin naman sa akin si Jennie. 

"Lis your food" bulong sakin ni Rosie. 

Napatingin naman ako sa plato ko at halos maging giniling na yung meat na nasa plato ko sa sobrang gigil ng hawak ko sa knife. Pag hindi ako nakapagtimpi baka matulad tong mokong nato sa giniling na meat sa plato ko. Pero bago ko pa ata magawa yun eh baka napatay na siya ni Kai na ansama na rin ng tingin sa kanya pero itong mokong na Francisco walang pakialam. Biruin niyo nagawa pang tumingin sakin ng may mapang asar na ngiti. Kung wala lang dito tatay ni Jennie baka pinaglalamayan na tong si Mokong ngayon.

Napatigil naman kami sa masamang tinginan namin sa isa't isa when the King cleared his throat to get our attention. We all went silent as we wait for the King to speak. 

"Good thing all of you are here now as I have an announcement to make. Three days from now, the competition for my daughter's hand will begin. In our past tradition, men and women who are aiming for the crown princess' hand should prove that they are  capable of running our country, our kingdom. So, this competition will require your strenght, your will, and your determination to win. We've prepared three different sports for you and those with the most number of wins will be my daughter's fiancè. We will tell you what sports you'll compete with two days prior the day of competition so you could have an all day to practice" 

"What!!! You're not into sports? So, tell me, how are you going to win this? Oh god we're doomed!" Jisoo disappointedly shouted. 

Andito kami ngayong apat sa kwarto ni Jen coz Jisoo literally pulled us in here para itanong sakin kung may pag asa ba kaming manalo sa laban na to. Inamin ko sa kanila na ako yung taong walang kahilig hilig sa sports and she's very disappointed in me. Samantalang, kita ko rin sa mga mata ng kakambal ko at ni Jen yung kawalan ng pag asa. Now, I want to slap myself kung bakit hindi ako nakinig kay Dad nung ginusto niyang isali ako sa mga sports nung bata pa ko. Eh di sana hindi ako namomroblema ngayon. Talagang nasa huli ang pagsisisi. 

"So tell me Lisa, how are you going to win against Kai and Francisco? I just want to inform you that those two... those two are very sporty and they are really good!" sabi ulit ni Jisoo na mas lalong nagpalala ng kaba ko. 

"Unnie please stop it! You're not helping! Jeez! Give her a break!" Jennie said before she walks towards me and caress my cheeks. 

She looked straight into my eyes and gave me a very comforting smile. Napangiti niya naman den ako sa ginawa niya and somehow her touch helped me to be relax and calm. Hinawakan ko yung kamay niya na nasa pisngi ko saka ko hinalikan yung mga palad niya. Then I placed her arms around my waist as I placed my arm on her shoulders saka ko hinarap si Jisoo. 

"I know I'm not good at it and I may not stand a chance with them but I will do my best to win this Jisoo. I'll practice hard. I won't sleep, I won't stop practicing if that's the only way for me to stand a chance. I will be doing my best. I won't give up Jennie to them no matter what happens. I'll win this" I said with full of conviction. 

"I trust you" Jennie whispered. 

I looked at Jennie and she smiled at me then I peck her lips which made her smile more. Yun lang anf kailangan kong marinig ngayon, that she trusts me and  belives me kahit na malabo. Kahit na anong mangyari hindi ko hahayaang mapunta siya sa iba. I'll fight for her. I won't give her up that easy. This is my only chance to get her and I won't let this slip my hands. Jennie is mine and she will marry me. Not Kai, not Francis but me. 

"Okay, I'm sorry. I am just worried coz I don't want my Jendeuk to end up marrying one of them" nahihiyang sabi niya naman. 

I nodded my head. Naiintindihan ko naman si Jisoo. Katulad niya ayoko ring mangyari yun. I came here all the way from the Philippines to get her back and I won't let her go without putting up a goddamn fight. I love her so much para pakawalan ko lang. 

"I won't let that happen, Jisoo"

Have you guys heard the news about Lisa's manager? Sobrang nasasaktan ako para sa kanya. Minsan kung sino pa talaga yung pinagkakatiwalaan mo siya pa yung mangbebetray sayo no? Kung sino pang yung mabuting tao siya pa yung naloloko! Ba't ba kasi may mga manloloko eh? Nakakagalit! Nakakarelate ako sa pwedeng nararamdaman ni Lisa now coz I was once betrayed by the person I treated as my own sibling. Sana oks lang si Lili natin. 

By the way, tapos ko na isulat tong Your Highness, so expect this to end this week. 😭😭😭
