"I want to be part of the mission my King," I told the King in front of all his men.

They are now preparing for the medical mission and started packing the relief goods they will be giving the people of the Philippines. The land was devastated by a super typhoon and badly needs help. My country offered help in medication as well as giving donations and reliefs for the affected families. Also, our country Korea coordinated with the government of the Philippines and they knew that help will come from the Royal family of Korea but had an agreement that it should be a secret amongst the people.

The king looked at me with hesitation in his eyes. I knew this look, he will not allow me to join the mission. The King was about to speak but I cut him off. 

"Please father. I promise I will behave" I begged while pouting my lips and doing puppy eyes so my father won't refuse.

Yes, you heard it right. I am the crown princess, the one and only heiress of the throne. 

"But it will be too dangerous for you my princess. I don't want to risk your life, so it's a no," he said firmly. 

I gritted my teeth and I want to shout because I'm mad but I shouldn't do that. If I shouted at my father, I'm sure he will not allow me at all. So, I composed myself and acted hurt and cry in front of him. I know he cannot resist me especially when I'm crying. A crying Jennie is one of his weaknesses. 

"It's okay Father I understand," I said but I made sure that he will see the tears in my eyes before I turn my back at him.

I walked slowly with a very down spirit with a dropped shoulders. Then I started counting.

I whispered to myself. I know my father will not let me sulk over this matter. He always gives in when I'm like this every after 5 seconds.

"Princess?" he called.

Gotcha!

I turned around biting my cheeks to prevent myself from smiling. 

"Yes, my King?" I answered weakly.

The King let out a sigh of defeat and he looked at me. 

"Okay, I will let you go but in one condition," he said. 

I can no longer hide the smile in my face when the King agreed. I don't care whatever his condition now, all I know is this my time to experience what I have been missing for the last twenty-three years of my existence. This is my time to be free and experience being a normal person.
