Description
Enters Hwang Yeji, a young girl orphaned at eight when her parents tragically died in a car crash. For ten years, she holds herself majorly accountable for their deaths; she picks misery over contentment and wallows in guilt than acceptance. That takes place during the day. At night, she finds herself occasionally immersed in foreboding dreams that ranges from faceless monsters to nameless angels. Fearing that she is gradually losing her sanity, thankfully, she soon discovers that the monsters do exist in reality- and so do the angels, which are known as a group of elite, godly warriors called the Shadowhunters.
Among many other peculiar discoveries, she discovers a piece of truth about her parents that might set her free... or drive her further.
With the help of her newfound allies, can she successfully unravel the truth of her parents' death?

Author’s Note: I first opened my eyes to the world of Shadowhunters when I was fourteen. My then classmate, Emily (that’s her middle name), recommended the Infernal Devices series (the prequel series to the Mortal Instruments (it also became a television series and movie guys!) due to my keen interest in fantasy genres (I did enjoy indulging other genres but fantasy genres... became my guilty pleasure). I instantly fell in love with the Infernal Devices series, with the Victorian setting, with the depth of plot, with the sentiment of each character, and most importantly, with Cassandra Clare’s (a brilliant writer who writes with fierce passion and sheer brilliance) powerful writing.
Cheers to her. Through her, I have discovered a passion in writing.
The world of literacy should not be confined by stiffened knowledge from the lack of creativity and imagination. Like a comfort zone, step out of it, and rediscover yourself as an individual. Only then, can you walk forward.
