Empire Group is the biggest and most prominent chaebol in Korea. It is one of South Korea's largest conglomerates and is headed by the strictly arrogant Lee Dong-Hwa. On the other hand, Park Shin Hye is from a middle-class family. She is the elder daughter of Park Hyun-Jong who is a high school teacher. Her mother, Jo Mi-Sook owns a restaurant in Seoul.
