i'd rather be oblivious, i'd rather be with you

Description

Wendy theorizes that maybe fate is real, and love is Bae Joohyun.

Foreword

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.”

-- Pablo Neruda, 100 Love Sonnets

Chapter 1: Oh Seungwan and her galaxy brain that thinks a tad too much, too loud, yet still too precious. I hope despite the open ending, Joohyun still wants Seungwan to be her home after all these years. This is a lovely piece that intertwines the sweetness of first love and the bitterness of adulthood. I love the part about science and philosophy and how the short sentence shows Seungwan's whole paradigm. Thank you for writing this!
