PROLOGUE

"Hello!!" a thin voice appeared out from nowhere.

I shot my head up and look around my room. 'Am I hearing things again?' is all I can ever think of. A year ago I heard a knock just when I was left alone at home. Months ago I heard footsteps. and now It had been a week since I last saw a blurry silhouette of a guy standing infront of me while I took a look of myself in the mirror, all of this happened in my old house, I repeat, in MY OLD HOUSE!

I walk to the desk near my bed to take my phone. It is only 5 in the morning and my brother should still be asleep at this moment. So, who was it that called me earlier? Well, I have never been a fan of a horror movie, not that I'm scare of ghost, I just tend to get bored of it, I'm more to movies that has sense of logic in it.

"Byul!!"

My attention falls on the mirror which was located at the corner of my room. Taking back my words earlier, I'm so freaking out right now! DID THAT THING JUST CALLED MY NAME?!

and so, I've decided to run for my life, out from my room, all the way to my brother's room. I told him about what happened and he said things like my being in a half asleep state. It made sense. I stayed up late and it must be because of it.

And once again I walk back to my room.

Entering it with careful footsteps as I lay down on my bed. Yihan, the name of my brother who is three years older than me, he must be right about me being half asleep. The voice did not appear again and it must be because I'm wide awake now. Taking a deep breath, I tuck into my blanket to take a nap before getting ready for my first day in Seoul University of Arts, as 21 years old me. Already excited, I'm off to dreamla-
