“What is this, Sinbi?” I question the cat as my eyes scan the paper once again. “There's even an address at the end...” I turn to Sinbi and, finally, the absurdity of this situation hits me. I scoff, throwing the paper to the feet of my night stand. “It's nonsense.” Yes. It's stupid. But when despair is making a feast of your heart, even the smallest possibility of hope looks like a light. And you want to hold onto that shred of hope. It's stupid. Yet I end up believing it. I'm sitting by the window a few days later, staring out absent-mindedly. Salty tears roll down my cheeks to the corners of my mouth. Sinbi jumps on my laps, where he puts the opened letter. “Why are you so insistent with this?” I whisper to the cat. My answer is a long meow. I glance at the address and surprise myself wondering if I should put faith in an animal. Sinbi is a very mysterious cat, true, but this might just be a paper he found outside. Or not?
