Tiffany’s POV

 

It was a bright shining day at the Bears Town Ski Resort, a perfect weather for all workers of Park’s company playing a ski or snowboarding and enjoys their holiday at the resort as the reward of the celebration of their company’s 25th anniversary.

 

“Hey, she is Kim Taeyeon, isn’t?”

 

Two girls at the table beside mine caught my attention. I was having a warm coffee and sitting at the open space of the café. It was near with the ski place where we could see people were playing.

 

“Omo, you right. She is that cute girl from the design team!”

 

I eavesdropping their conversation.

 

“Oh my god, did you see that? She looks so y when snowboarding!”

 

Feeling curious, I looked away and saw Taeyeon was skating down the hill with her board.

 

“And hot too!” Her friend added.

 

“Does she have a boyfriend?” Her friend asked.

 

“Or a girlfriend?”

 

“I heard the rumours said she is meeting someone from our company too and it’s a girl” She whispered slowly to her friend.

 

“Jinjja? Her girlfriend?”

 

"I don't know, I just heard the rumours only. I heard the girl is really pretty"

 

Girlfriend?

 

Just thinking about that was enough to make me blushing hard.

 

But it slowly faded when I remember that I'm not her girlfriend... yet because Taeyeon never asked me to be her girlfriend. Well, I admit we went to a lot of dates for this past one month, I mean she says she likes me but she never asked us to be official and it made me sigh in disappointment.

 

Geez, why she never ask me? Is she really likes me?

 

I took a sip of my coffee before stole a glance at Taeyeon again. She was smiling brightly, taking off her goggles and make a punch with her friend, laughing. I admit she really looks so y and hot playing the snowboard.

 

"Are you having fun watching the midget?"

 

The voice made me choke on my coffee. I coughed and wipe my mouth with the tissue before looked up.

 

"S-sunny?"

 

"Hi" she greeted me "Can I sit here?" She asked me, holding her coffee she just bought.

 

"Yeah, sure," I said

 

"Thanks" she sat on the empty seat before sipping her coffee.

 

"What are you doing here? You are not going to play?"I asked her curiously

 

"Oh, I got bored playing and tired. I need to rest" sunny said simply.

 

"You? You are not joining your friends?" She asked me back

 

"Me? Well, I'm not interested in a ski. So, I just stay here instead"

 

"And watching the midget" Sunny grinned.

 

"What! No, I'm not!" I denied, feeling warm on my cheeks

 

"I caught you, Tiffany"

 

I averted her eyes and looked away, doesn't want she sees my blushing cheek.

 

"She's good, doesn't she?" Sunny said

 

"You mean?"

 

"Taengoo, playing the snowboarding" Sunny pointed at Taengoo with . I saw Taeyeon was skating down from the hill again with her snowboard.

 

"Yes, she is" I nod in agreement and crossed my arms. "How she can be so good at snowboarding?"

 

"She is clumsy but never in snowboarding. That's her favourite spot."

 

"Favorite sport?"

 

"Her dad always brought her to the ski resort to snowboard. So, Taeyeon used to it" Sunny explained.

 

"No wonder she looked so excited when the company decide to come here" I giggled when remembering her excited face.

 

"So, how are you two doing now?" she asked me

 

"What?" I asked back

 

"Still no progress?"

 

I let out a long sigh before shook my head, pouting at Sunny.

 

"Forgive her, Tiffany. Taeyeon sometimes can be too slow to realize"

 

"But it has been a month and she never asked me. I couldn't help but feel disappointed" I pouted

 

"Do you really like that midget, Tiffany?" Sunny giggled

 

"Of course" I nod "She makes me happy though" I played with my fingers.

 

"And she too, at least that is what Taeyeon always said to me" Sunny sipping her coffee and I was blushing.

 

"Just wait, Tiffany. I'm sure she will, soon"

 

"Yeah, I know"

 

"Speak of the devil, there she is coming"

 

I turned my head away and saw Taeyeon was running towards our way while holding her snowboard in her arm. She was waving at us.

 

"Omo, Sunny. I need to go" I stood up in rush and grab my coffee.

 

"Bye, I'll meet you later"

 

Sunny nodded and raised her hands.

 

"You too" she replied and I walked away before Taeyeon reached our place. I want to avoid her for now.

 

"Hey, Sunkyu!" Taeyeon greeted Sunny when I was gone from sight.

 

"Hey" Sunny replied calmly.

 

"Where's Tiffany? I saw her with you just now"

 

"I don't know, maybe she goes to meet her friend" Sunny shrugged her shoulders.

 

"Really?" Taeyeon pouted disappointedly. "Ya hands me the coffee. I want it too"

 

"Go buy yourself. it's mine"

 

"Tch, you're so mean"

Third’s POV

 

Lunchtime, the food court in the resort

 

"Thank you" Taeyeon didn't forget to say it to the cashier after her food arrived. She carried the food tray and her eyes wandered around the food court to find an empty table. Her eyes then spotted Tiffany who also looking for a table.

 

She smiled brightly and walking to her.

 

"Fany-ah"

 

Tiffany was startled by her.

 

"Geez, Tae, don't appear suddenly like that" Tiffany scolded her and Taeyeon giggled before apologize.

 

"Are you looking for a table too? Do you wanna sit with me?"

 

"Sorry, Tae. maybe not today. my friends are calling me" Tiffany pointed at her friends at another table.

 

"Oh really?" Taeyeon tried to not sound so disappointed.

 

"Bye, Tae"

 

"Bye..." Taeyeon watching Tiffany walked away to her friends. She sees Tiffany smile happily greeting her friends and she couldn't help but let out a long sigh.

 

"Stupid Taengoo. You should understand her" Sunny walked passed her.

 

"Huh?" Taeyeon confused before she catches up with Sunny who also holding a food tray.

 

"What do you mean by that?" Taeyeon asked while kept walking with Sunny.

 

"I don't know, You should think harder"

 

Taeyeon became more confused

 

"Hey, Taeng, Sunny. Here!" Yuri waved to her friends and they saw her with Jessica at the table at the corner food court. they walked up to them.

 

"Hey guys" Jessica greeted them.

 

"Hey, Jess" Taeyeon place her tray on the table and sat opposite with the couple. She then sighed.

 

"What's wrong with you?" Yuri looking at Taeyeon.

 

"Nothing..." Taeyeon said weakly.

 

"Just ignore her guys," Sunny said before grabbed her chopstick.

 

"I can't understand, Sunkyu. I mean, I feel like she's trying to avoid me this lately. Did I do something wrong?"

 

"Ohhhh I get it. Tiffany?" Yuri asked her and Taeyeon nodded weakly.

 

"You two fight?" Jessica asked

 

"What! No, we don't fight and just doing great. it just... urghhh" Taeyeon groaned.

 

"Maybe you should ask her, Taeng" Jessica suggest

 

"How I could ask when every time I tried to meet her she will avoid me" Taeyeon stated sadly. "Why is so hard to understand a woman?"

 

"You're a woman too, stupid"

 

"I know that fact too, Shorty" Taeyeon glared at her best friend.

 

"Seobang, cucumber" Taeyeon shifted her attention to Jessica and Yuri. Jessica was putting her cucumber inside Yuri's noodles.

 

"They put cucumber in your noodle?" Yuri munched the cucumber.

 

"I forget to tell them to not put it"

 

"Wanna change with mine? I don't have cucumber inside it"

 

"It's fine. I just need you to eat the cucumber only" Jessica keep searching for cucumber inside her bowl and shoved it into Yuri's mouth.

 

"Well, well, look at these lovebirds. so lovey-dovey" Taeyeon wiggled her eyebrows.

 

"Get rid off that stupid face, Taeng" Yuri scoffed

 

"I'm so jealous with you two. Haish, why I need to sit with this couple"

 

"Be grateful Tae, this is the only sit available right now. If not, I’d like to kick you away too "
