Qing Dynasty Crown Prince Yixing (later on Emperor Jiashuai of Changsha) is on the 18th year of his life, a perfect time to get married. The Royal Council pressured him to have a wife in order for his power be strengthen before sitting on the throne as the emperor in the future. So, his grandfather, Emperor Hong Lei announced to gather all the beautiful noble ladies in the whole country, and it happened that the Crown Princess from the present, Li Reba, time travelled and among 126 ladies, she was selected as the next wife of the prince in Qing Dynasty while in the present, she is already married to his high school sweetheart, Prince Consort Lu Han.

Zhang Xing (Present): The long lost sole heir of Sun Hong Group. Youngest grandson of Sun Hong Lei, the CEO of Sun Hong Group. Known to be the smartest among the other 4 sole heirs, but got into an accident a month after the pronouncement of his grandfather granting all of his assets and the company to Xing, gone missing for 10 years already. Lu Han's cousin. The owner of pen name "Er Yue Hong", the secret admirer of Princess Regnant Dilireba.

DILRABA DILMURAT as:

Princess Regnant Dilireba, of the Dilimulati clan / Li Reba (Present): the Princess Regnant of China. Married to Prince Consort Lu Han, second to the youngest grandson of Sun Hong Lei. The next empress regnant of China in the modern times, and;

Princess Consort Reba / Empress Reba, of the Li Clan (Qing Dynasty): The crown princess' identity in Qing Dynasty. The daughter of a prime minister and a duchess based in Xinjiang. The main wife of Prince Yixing (Emperor Jiashuai).

LUHAN as:
Prince Consort Lu Han (Present): Crown Princess Dilireba's husband. Second to the youngest grandson of Sun Hong Lei. Zhang Xing's cousin.

CHENG XIAO as:
Princess Xiao / Empress Xiao, of the Cheng Clan (Qing Dynasty): daughter of late Grand Prince Zhang Qiming and late Lady Consort Cheng Chen. Emperor Hong Lei's only granddaughter. Prince Yixing's half-sister, his second Empress on the latter.

YANG YANG as:
Lord Yangxi (Qing Dynasty): The Minister of War. He still like Reba even if she rejected him many times.

WANG YIBO as:
Lord Yibo (Qing Dynasty): The royal envoy of the Qing Dynasty to Joseon. Yixing's dear friend and secretly like Princess Xiao.

SUN HONGLEI as:
Emperor Hong Lei (Qing Dynasty): The Emperor of Qing Dynasty. Grandfather of Former Crown Prince Lu Han, Crown Prince Yi Xing, and Princess Xiao. Grandfather-in-law of Princess Reba.

Sun Honglei (Present): The CEO of Sun Hong Group. Grandfather of Zhang Xing and Lu Han. Grandfather-in-law of Princess Regnant Reba.

ELKIE as:
Cho Tingyan (Qing Dynasty): Reba's personal attendant.
