W H E N   I T  B E G A N

it all started at the ripe age of seventeen, jaehyun had held the entire world by a mere pair of strings. naeun fought battles even in her dreams, desperate to rebuild herself bone by fragile bone. in the end, they catatrosphically collided with one another.

B U T   I T   F A L L S   A P A R T

everything inevitably falls apart at the age eighteen. naeun leaves the only town they've ever known without looking back. jaehyun swears to himself to ing burn her place in his castle of memories until there's nothing left but charred ashes.

B E F O R E   I T   E N D S

then everything rewinds at the age of twenty two. except, naeun's no longer the lost girl, but rather, she's grown up with eyes that were once hollow are now glowing with life. jaehyun—still very much a king—buries himself beneath bottles of liquor, but he's still the same the naive boy from years ago who couldn't see the grey between the chaos of black and white.

inspired by poetry, books, and music. there's a vague description but essentially, it's about second chances, the power of family, and friendships. it exemplifies how different narratives bring about different accounts of what happened. it's angst but there will be humour sprinkled here and there.
