There’s something that glimmers around Soyeon and Baekhyun, especially when they’re in a room together. Soyeon’s sure Baekhyun hates her, and Baekhyun’s sure Soyeon hates him, too. There seems to be something hidden beneath all those layers of flames they keep directing towards each other, and they need to take a few steps down their prideful arrgoance to demolish them right.

He got everyone to believe he loathes the ground she walks in, even her. He’s a great illusionist like that, giving people what they want to see, and crushing down the flames of his real desires and emotions under his shoes. 

Soyeon’s a great actor. She treats Baekhyun with the indifference he deserves, and sometimes she feels like she’s overdoing it, but he’s an who treats her like dirt, no matter how lingering his stares or how burning his fleeting touches are. She got everyone to believe she hates the ground he walks in, even him. She’s a great illusionist like that, giving people what they want, and squashing those longing emotions she always has regarding him under the squeak of her shoes.
