‘Unnie, I believe I only said mocha and earl grey latte. My girlfriend and I are the first customer for today.’ Chaewon said to the clueless barista.

Hyewon then turn her head to one occupied table near the window where Hitomi already start to write something while waiting for Chaewon.

Damn! That devilish Nako must clown on me again!

‘And the usual ricotta cheesecake I believe Chae?’ Hyewon asked.

Chaewon just nodded her head and thus scan her smart phone to the QR code machine to proceed for the payment.

‘Thank you Hyewon unnie and I think your No. 1 customer will greet you in 5 seconds from now!’ Chaewon said with smirk never left her face.

‘Hyewon-ah, can you make my flat white today with triple shot of espresso? I really need high dose caffeine for stay sane at least until at the end of evening.’ Eunbi said while reading something without spare a glance to Hyewon the moment she make her step inside the café.

‘No freaking way I am letting you take that much espresso with empty stomach Kwon Eunbi.’

‘Only for today Hyewonie. I am pulling all-nighter to go through these cases and the all the dateline is just around the corner.’ Eunbi finally lift her head to her best friend who is expressionless in her barista apron.

‘Alright then. Take your seat first and wait for Nako pack your carrot bagel.’ Hyewon said while working on the orders.

‘Eunbi unnie, how are you?’ Hitomi asked from their table since the café is not that spacious.

‘Omo! Hello to both you Hiichan, Chaewonie. Just fine I guess. How was college? It is already the last year for both of you right?

‘We barely holding on for now unnie. These past few weeks is the most challenging so far. With all those internship placement and everything else. I wonder how both of you and Hyewon unnie gone through this during back then.’ Chaewon answered the older woman with dejected face.

‘Cheer up Chae! These hard time will pass by. And when you are graduating later, trust me, you will rather still want to stuck with study instead of working. I mean, class may get cancel. But during work, there is no such thing as that.’

Just then, a girl with small body named Nako was holding a tray with Chaewon’s cheesecake and Eunbi’s packed carrot bagel.

‘Sorry for make you waiting everyone but here is Eunbi unnie bagel and two riccota cheesecakes for sweet campus couple and R&J’s loyal customer, the Ssambang couple!’ Nako teased and that make Hitomi’s fair and white skin turn red instantly as she still not used to the tease.

‘Geez Nako, stop the teasing will you? Can you see how red Hitomi’s face turned into?’ Eunbi playfully angry but actually trying hard to holding her laugh as well.

‘Nako is sorry Hiichan. You know I am just pulling your leg right?’ The small thug in disguise saying to Hitomi and the latter just smile shyly.

Just then, Nako comeback with the drinks for both Chaewon and Hitomi while Eunbi already going back to the counter while waiting for her coffee.

‘One flat white with extra shot of espresso for R&J VIP customer!’ Hyewon’s voice jolt Eunbi up from her silent thought.

‘Heol, although I have been listen to those since four years ago, why does it still unfamiliar to me Kwangbae?’

It is just another day at R&J café owned by Hyewon. The barista slash the owner was busy scribble something with her notebook and letting out endless sigh. Nako who at the kitchen by that time almost getting crazy by Hyewon’s sigh.

‘Unnie, I don’t understand why on earth you don’t have the gut to just confess to Eunbi unnie? Gosh. If only you are not my boss, I already smash that head of yours.’ Nako said and did not even bother to look at Hyewon.

Hyewon then willing to spend some time taking a barista skill qualification behind Eunbi’s back during their university days. And luck is really on her side as her parents just support her decision. The red haired girl then suddenly stop playing thus rushing to where Hitomi stood and quickly do the deed.

‘Tsk tsk. Whipped Chaewon~~~’ Hyewon teased but receiving a glare from the certain Kim.

‘Just see what happen tonight. I bet you are more whipped than me. Or maybe Eunbi unnie might decide to just ditch on you.’ Chaewon replied.

Both of them just able to smile like a fool and did not dare to lift up their head. But, with Hyewon’s right hand already clasped Eunbi’s left hand tightly, the atmosphere getting better among the former best friend.

‘Gosh, should I bump their head so that they can kiss already? My leg are getting numb here!’ Chaewon whispered her complain but getting quite when Hitomi pinch her stomach slowly. But before Eunbi can say anything, a stranger among them suddenly speak up and that’s enough making Nako stunned at the goddess look alike before her eyes.

‘Excuse me, sorry to ruin the moment but can I know where is the ladies room?’

Hyewon then show the direction although her hand never letting go her clasped hand with Eunbi.

Nako’s eyes never left the stranger until Chaewon smack her body slowly. The rest of them just laugh at the situation and Chaewon take this chance to tease the small bean.

‘Uwuu…seems like someone already falling in love here. But sorry to say, she is too high for you Nako.’

‘Never judge a book by the colour Kim Chaewon. This small thug will make sure to get that Aphrodite’s contact number by tonight.’

‘I can say luck might be at your side Nako. She is just the same like you and Chaewon here. Gosh, another mint choco ice cream lover inside the circle.’ Eunbi excitedly said with her bright smile and Hyewon cannot help but melted on that scene.
