Chapter 1: So cute and well written..

Chapter 1: I really enjoyed this story, the premise and the pacing were well done. I liked the way Mina's trajectory in life was influenced by Momo and their encounter in a way and how it ultimately came full circle.

Chapter 1: I love the flow of the story. Mina unexpectedly encountered Momo in her field work as a Mafia member, and was taken care of Momo through the simplest and most essential of things: her hand was given immediate first aid – which we are then told her day profession, her clothes got washed and dried, and was escorted home safely.

I like that the story didn’t gloss over the aftereffects of witnessing violence, and that through time, and the memory of Momo’s kindness enabled Mina to heal from that incident. I find it a nice touch that Mina was inspired to be a nurse from Momo’s expert treatment of her hand.

I love how they met up again, that Mina was allowed the chance to return the favor in caring for Momo. I love that Momo initiated their lighthearted catch up conversation.

I can imagine Momo’s perked up expression when she caught on to Mina’s candid confession of being happy to see here again.

I love that Momo had flowers delivered to Mina’s place of work with an envelope containing her message and phone #. I like the ending. I interpret it as that Mina wants to keep her budding relationship with Momo private for the meantime and acknowledging that Momo is an old friend of hers.
