SOMEWHERE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

Mina woke up from her sleep and she was surprised to see it was almost sunset, 6 PM. She quickly packed her stuff, her lunch box and her Gameboy Tetris.

She had been there on the mountain since morning, spending her day playing Tetris until her thumbs grew stiff and numb, just to avoid seeing her friends in the tournament.

She didn't expect to fall asleep for that long though. Now she had to go home soon. This is Sunday evening. She had to prepare a lot of documents for the meeting with Nayeon tomorrow morning.

Mina got on her horse and went riding back home. And she rode very carefully, afraid that she would meet any of her friends on her way home.

Unfortunately, her wish was not granted. As soon as she reached her ranch and put her horse back to the stable, she was welcomed by the sight of her angry friends.

Kento was the first to come. Mina quickly noticed the anger in Kento's eyes. She was actually surprised to see Kento. Earlier Kento had been treating Sana badly, but now he acted like a big brother should. Indeed, now Kento had become a good big brother for Sana.

As Kento arrived in front of her, Mina removed her cowboy hat and greeted him.

"Hi, Kento. What brings you here?" She asked, although she already knew what exactly brought Kento there.

Kento stared at Mina. "Mina, why did you do that to Sana? Why did you break her heart? She keeps crying all night long, for three days! Do you know that?"

Mina's eyes widened. Three days? She keeps crying all night for three days? Oh my God! Sana, I'm sorry!

Mina made a mental note to come to Sana and apologize again.

She then spoke to Kento.

"Kento, look, I'm sorry for that, okay? I didn't mean to break her heart, really!"

Kento glared angrily. "Yeah, everyone always says that whenever they break up with someone! She loves you, Mina! Why did you date her if you don't love her?"

Mina felt very guilty about this. "Kento, I'm sorry. When I decided to date her, I thought I loved her. But it turned out I only love her as a friend. I'm so sorry for that. She is still my best friend. And I will continue to take care of her as my best friend."

Kento didn't say anything, only kept glaring at Mina.

Mina saw Kento had an unchanneled anger inside him, then she found an idea.

"Kento, look, how about I'm letting you punch me for once? I'll take it as my punishment." Mina offered.

Kento stared and frowned at Mina. "What?"

Mina continued. "You're angry at me, right? Punch me!"

Kento's eyes bulged out. "Are you serious?"

Mina nodded. "Yes! Remember when you were still a bad guy, you always wanted to hit me but you can't? Now I'll let you hit me once, and I won't dodge. I'll just consider it as my punishment for hurting Sana and making her cry."

Kento agreed. "Uhh... Alright then. Get ready, Mina."

He clenched his fist and prepared to punch Mina.

Mina suddenly remembered something and she shouted.

"Wait! Not on my face please, I have an important meeting tomorrow, I need my face clean and pretty. Punch my gut instead."

Kento nodded. "Okay."

He walked up to Mina. Mina took a deep breath and prepared herself to take a hit from Kento.

Kento clenched his fist and then punched Mina hard on her stomach.

"Ugh!"

Mina doubled over and groaned in pain. She stumbled back a bit but still managed to keep standing. Her hands clutched onto her stomach, and her hat fell off to the ground.

Kento stared and observed the younger girl. He was a bit worried he had hit Mina too hard. Yes he was a bad guy before, but now after he had reformed to be a good guy, he considered Mina as his family too, especially after Mina dated his younger sister.

Mina waited for a moment until the pain in her stomach alleviated. She took a deep breath and then slowly straightened up.

"Are we good now?" She asked.

Kento blinked. He felt his anger had diminished a bit.

"Y-Yeah. I think we're good. See you again, Mina."

Kento then left the place.

Mina took another deep breath. Deep inside she was thankful it was Kento who came to her just now. Kento's punch was not very hard, and Mina could take a punch from Kento anytime without much trouble.

Mina took her hat from the ground and wore it again, and continued walking back home. The distance from her house to her ranch (where she had put her horse) was quite far.

And while Mina was walking, suddenly she saw another figure coming from a distance.

Oh shoot! Chewy! I thought she’s already back to her apartment!

Mina was panicking. She knew Tzuyu was coming to beat her, and in her normal condition she was clearly no match for Tzuyu. Tzuyu was stronger than her and had always defeated her on any occasion. The only time Mina was able to beat Tzuyu was when the latter was sick, or when Mina was in her dark penguin mode. To enter a dark penguin mode, Mina needed a trigger, a reason to fight. And at this moment, Mina had no reason to fight Tzuyu. Now Mina was on the guilty side, and she knew she deserved some punishment from her friends. Back then when Momo and Tzuyu ganged up to beat Mina, Mina was able to put up a fight because she was fighting for Sana and she wanted to protect Sana from getting hurt. But now she was the one who hurt Sana, so yes, she deserved a punishment for that.

Tck! Now I have to prepare myself for another punch!

The penguin cowgirl thought while flinching a bit, knowing Tzuyu's punch was much harder than Kento's.

Mina saw Tzuyu coming at her. She waited until Tzuyu arrived in front of her, and removed her hat to greet the officer.

"Hi, Chewy." Mina smiled.

"Don't 'hi' me, Mina. Where were you today? You didn't come to the tournament!"

Mina gulped a bit. "Uhh... I had something to do. I was doing a survey in the market."

Tzuyu glared. "Liar. We checked your horse, it was not there. There's no way you would ride a horse to the market. You were avoiding us."

Mina didn't say anything anymore. She was never a good liar anyway. She figured she had to ask Nayeon to teach her how to lie without getting caught. Nayeon was the master of lies and deception. The same with Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung.

Mina took a deep breath. She decided not to beat around the bush anymore.

"Chewy, you're coming for me. And this must be about Sana, right? And you come here to punish me for breaking Sana's heart, right?"

Tzuyu glared. "Yes! Mina, I've told you not to play with her heart! And look at her now! She's crying all night long, for three days straight!"

"I'm sorry." Mina said.

Tzuyu kept glaring at her. "Do you remember what I said to you? Don't play around with her! And don't give her false hope! Sana loves you! And now you break her heart after you gave her false hope!"

Mina shook her head. She then tried to explain herself to Tzuyu.

"No, Chewy, it's not a false hope! I mean, I thought I loved her back then! But now I realize I don't!"
