/16/ Last Hope

"How are you and the girls doing?" Sohyun asks. "Did something change after you told them the truth?"

Sojung paused for a second to think of Sohyun's question. They are walking in the hallways of the hospital. It's the last week before Sojung's chemotherapy and yet she still needs to attend her weekly check-up. Fortunately, Sohyun accompanied her today.

"Honestly, nothing really changed after that night. The girls were acting normal, just more clingy and caring than usual." Sojung answered with a small smile.

"Yeah?" Sohyun chuckles. "Like how clingy?"

"Since that night, they're switching up to cuddle me to sleep... or rather I cuddle them to sleep." Sojung chuckled as she remembered the girls sneaking through her bed every night to sleep beside her. It was sweet and it helps Sojung to sleep better, but instead of the girls cuddling her, it's her that's lulling them to sleep. "Well, some things never change."

"That's good though. At least I will not worry that much." Sohyun smiles. "But are you comfortable? Are you getting enough sleep? Cause if not, I'll talk to them right away."

Sojung chuckles, "It's okay unnie. I slept well these past few weeks than I ever did the last year."

"Alright. If you say so." Sohyun pinched Sojung cheeks. "But tell me if they're already bothering you, okay?"

"Right." Sojung slapped her unnie's hand from her cheeks. "I always need to tell you."

"Because I'm your unnie. Can I not be worried about my little sister?" Sohyun pouted her lips which cause Sojung to let out a laugh.

"Whatever, unnie." Sojung walks faster to avoid her unnie's nagging. Sohyun was always been protective of her. Her father always thought them to love each other because, at the end of the day, they only got each other. Her father was right, not until she met Yerin, Yuna, Yewon and the two Eunbis.
