Miss Me On Lonely Roads
Description
She walks towards him, her skin slightly flushed after the performance, in all her glory.
“Hi”, Jongin tries to smile as he barely chokes out, the word dissipating into nothingness in the noise coming from the audience. Her eyes shift to him, so briefly he could’ve imagined it, recognition flitting over them and then she’s gone, leaving nothing but her mint-soap scent around him. He swallows hard, and gathers enough courage to turn and look back at her one last time as she walks backstage, her black-clad elegant form receding from his eyes.
If only she’d take the infinity of regrets that he sleeps with each night, with her too.
Foreword
Sometime in the shade of trees,
Think of me with cold sighs,
When you’ll wait (for me) and (it will) flow down your eyes,
You’ll miss me,
You’ll miss me
No matter how much you try to forget,
You’ll miss me
No matter how far you go,
When you go on the journey of your dreams,
When you wake on beautiful dawns,
When you suddenly stop when saying something,
You’ll miss (me)
You’ll miss me,
When you walk on lonely pathways,
You’ll miss me,
With each step you take,
Sometime in the shade of trees,
Think of me with cold sighs,
When you’ll wait for me and (it will) flow down your eyes,
You’ll miss me
When you go on the journey of your dreams,
When you wake on beautiful dawns,
My heart is calling you,
Listen,
Hidden in your heart,
Is such a tune,
When somebody whispers quietly,
When you wake up and it’s all quiet,
When there’s no one with you,
You’ll have a wish,
You’ll remember,
That there was someone special....
You’ll miss me,
When you smile with all your heart,
And when you miss me,
How will you stop the tears (from flowing)?
