This is an entry for the Light And Darkness Fantasy Writing Contest by DGNA_Forever.

The prompt I am using is the Dark Prompts Prompt D5: Legends tell of a sword which has an unquenchable taste for blood, but all who wield it become erased from history.

Author's Note

The story is intended to not be a romance between Yoohyeon and Kingmaker despite how I wrote it. Kingmaker is more intrigued by her so he acts that way with her.

Also, if anyone wants to know the inspiration for his sword form, I will find an image from the drama I’m currently addicted to. I will be surprised if anyone can figure out which drama the sword is from.

Yoohyeon’s hair is pink while Jungkook’s hair is red. I was inspired by Dreamcatcher’s Piri for Yoohyeon and for Jungkook I saw pictures floating around of him with red hair that looks kind of pink.

You’re welcome to imagine face models for Kingmaker, Auntie Jeon, the King and the Queen as anyone you want. When I first wrote this, I never picked a face model for them. The only one I considered choosing is Yoohyeon’s mother who I used SuA as a face model for.

Honestly, it has been while a while since I last wrote anything on here so I'm feeling a bit rusty. I even forgot how to link the contest but luckily I remember how.
