Rendezvous
Description
While Do Kyungsoo is not a snob, he's very shy with strangers—preferring other people to initiate conversations and establish a connection with him. As much as he wants to know people from different walks of life, he fails in making small talk, choosing to observe from a distance. Fresh from his military enlistment, Kyungsoo looks forward to the next chapter of his life. Albeit unsure, he wants to see the world, more aware of what it holds.
As Kyungsoo encounters Hana, a woman he coincidentally encountered at the airport two years ago, he enters into her world, through a different set of eyes. Although Hana is his opposite from the surface, he discovers they share lots of similarities. Some very peculiar. Like she's his soulmate.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Am I in love with the name "Hana" for my original characters after watching "Love Rain"? Yes. Am I in love with IZ*ONE's Minju as the face for my original characters? Yes, because Minju exudes "first love" and "I wanna know her better" vibes effortlessly.
Like my other Do Kyungsoo stories, this was supposed to be released in 2020 but this fic has been in my mind for three weeks that it was practically screaming for its release. So here it is. Am I ready to fall in love with Kyungsoo and Hana's conversations? Yes. Am I ready to laugh and cry at this story? Yes and no.
This story will have a different structure from my other fics since it will mostly revolve around Kyungsoo and Hana's conversations (since there will be a lot of talking between the two and I'm so excited eep), and songs from both of their playlists (which is something that will be revealed in the fic later ehe). This fic "Rendezvous" is inspired from the film "A Man Called Ove", the book "The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue", and many songs from my playlist.
PS: Rendezvous is defined as "a meeting at an agreed time and place between two people" which is a significant element of this fic. I hope you'll all enjoy!
