Lee Taemin never expected to be thrown off his mischievous Halloween spirit—let alone crush on the new employee at the local Halloween store. (Originally written for A Very SHINee Halloween on AO3!)

Foreword

Prompt Summary: Person A is an underpaid employee at a Halloween store, and Person B is a customer who always comes in and s around, messes up displays, annoys Person A, etc. But it's all because Person B has a crush on Person A.

Chapter 1: Teenage Taekey are so cute!!! You wrote their age very realistically, it was so fun to read!
I absolutely adore the scene where Taemin sees Kibum for the first time and his brain completely freezes while Kibum is just in a let's-move-on retail mood. I love the way you described their typical real behaviours, like Taemin's blinking and spacing out. And Kibum feeling guilty for making Taemin sad by being angry, even though Taemin really deserved it, is so real too haha. Kibum and his soft spot for his cute Taemin!

Chapter 1: This sure is different from your other fics but you really pulled off the fluff. It was fun; I enjoyed their every encounter in the store to the point that I want to follow the development of their "ties" further. But whether or not you write a followup, I appreciate this as a complete one-shot. Thanks for writing Taekey and here's hoping you do more, or fluff, no other pairing is as fascinating & sublimely beautiful as taekey. <3
