Chapter 7: Preparation Mina POV:

“Please! Mina! Please pleaseeeee!” Sana pouts cutely

 

It’s Sunday and I’m currently in my apartment with one of my best friends since high school back there, in Japan, Minatozaki Sana. Sana is a talented, cute and pretty 22 years old girl, already personal secretary of the CEO in a big company, and a member of an international writing club. The “boss” of that club just invited her to a party, and she’s very nervous about it, because she never met any of the members of the club, so, there was no chance that she encountered one of the founders. In the invitation, it said that she could go with one or two friends, which implied that she should go accompanied, and, of course, she had to think about me for that task. The thing is that I hate going out, like REALLY hate. I prefer staying at home, reading, or watching movies; and, partying was the last thing I wanted to do…

 

“I don’t want to…” I sigh deeply seeing her antics.

“I can’t go by myself! I need someone to accompany me! I can’t just show up there alone! You know I’m shy!”

“You’re not, Sana, stop.”

“It doesn’t matter if I’m shy or not! What matters here is that you’re my only friend in town and I need you. Can’t you help me for once? I was always there for you, remember? To cover your secret dates from your parents, back there in high school!”

“Wow, the nerve you got!” I scoff

“Just- … argh! You’re so…”

 

Well, maybe it’s not such a bad idea, I mean, I owe her one… And it’s between writers and stuff, so it’s probably going to be like a celebration meeting or something…

 

“Ok.” I interrupt her.

“What did you say?” she asks surprised.

“Don’t make me repeat it, I already am regretting it!”

Her surprised face quickly transforms into a grin and she starts jumping everywhere.

“Thank you thank you thank you so much!!!” She approaches me to attempt kisses on my cheeks several times and I efficiently avoid her lips.

Author POV:

Nayeon and Mina were so busy, Nayeon with work, and Mina with the first trimester exams coming soon, that Nayeon had to suspend the Monday class and that they couldn’t see each other outside class. Even if they denied it or just didn’t realize it, they missed each other a lot. Anyways, days pass quickly…

 

Nayeon POV: Today is Friday. I’m hella exhausted because of class, numerous meetings, work, more meetings, and more work, all day was a pain in the neck. I’m watching Netflix, or at least, it’s what I’m supposed to do, but, in fact, I’m just spread on my couch, actually our couch, in our living room, and instead of watching in our TV the Christmas comedy playing, I just close my eyes (at least I’ve got something on my own), tired and sleepy. Why? You would say, since I’ve got my own bedroom and I could do the same thing in my private space, and I could even sleep! But, apparently, I’m not allowed to stay in my bed, because I have the responsibility of watching over the food in the oven. And why do I have to do that? You would
