The Mayor and Her Wife
Description
Kwon Eunbi, social innovator, the favorite protégé of the current Mayor of Seoul, is the fastest rising star in the Future Party, as well as the Party's hope to run for the future Mayor's election. Kwon is popular but not without controversy. She is married, to a woman. These made her the target of smearing, scandalizing and being framed by political opponents.
Kwon's wife, Lee Kkura is an Asian American journalist with multiple talents. She married Kwon and settled down in Korean. Lee is the opposite of Kwon. She prefers to stay away from the crowd and do her own job quietly. Being the wife of a politician, however, forces her out of her comfort zone when she is left with no choice but has to protect her beloved from being framed and scandalized, and to walk with her until she reaches her star.

Foreword
People show their true selves and moral standard during difficult times.
Originally, I just wanted to write a story that reflects my feeling as the partner of a super busy person who spends all her time and resources for social good. I dramatized and escalated it into the scale of "the mayor and her wife" (actually it should be "my life as the mayor's wife" to emphasize the subjectivity of "the wife").
However, I changed my mind. IZ*ONE was facing an unprecedented difficult time when I started to write the first chapter. I am not sure if we can "save" IZ*ONE at the end when so much interest was involved, but as a WIZONE writer, I am determined to play an active role. The best I can offer is to continue to write good stories to keep the visibility of IZ*ONE and to encourage WIZONE. Darkness will be gone when dawn comes.
I also hope that I can bring out a message: no matter how small we are, how little power we possessed, we can fight and kill the giant if we are standing strong together. In this story, all the friends and family of Eunbi and Sakura, especially the youth members, all stood strong together, offering what they have to prove Eunbi’s innocent and to rebuild her reputation. This is what WIZONE is doing in real life and we must continue.
Although I am not Christian, I was deeply moved by a Bible verse: "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." (Timothy 4:12)
Let’s fight until the end!
