Few days later... 

 

 

 

Jennie arrived at her office. She's in a mess. Few days without seeing jisoo felt like years. Jisoo was too busy and currently she's not in LA because of work. Jennie missed her so much. She also haven't heard anything from lisa. Well they did exchange number the night they met so that will be easy to contact. Jennie just hope that the 1 year will pass by quickly. Both her parents was busy doing preparation about her wedding but she just don't care at all. 

 

 

 

Once jennie stepped inside the office, everyone quickly went back to at their place and greet her. With her straight face, she walks inside the room. Before she gets in, she stopped by at dian's table. 

 

 

 

"My office, now" Jennie said in a serious tone. 

 

 

 

"Oh good morning miss kim, you have a guest inside your room."

 

"Who?" 

 

"Miss chahee. She's waiting for you." 

 

"What? Chahee? Why is she here. It's okay just meet me after that" Jennie just walk pass her. She went inside and saw her best friend was sitting at the couch playing with her phone.

 

 

 

Chahee is jennie best buddy since they were in the 3rd grade. Jennie does not have much friends. Most of them wanted to be friend with her either because she is rich or famous back then in school. Chahee is the only one who is sincere with her and can handle her attitude. Chahee was there through her ups and down.

 

 

 

"Yah jen, what took you so long? I've waited for 15 minutes and i'm hungry. Your fault.." Chahee glared at her.

 

"Why is it my fault? It's my office, so suits me if i want to come early or not. Next time call me first. Thank god i came to the office today." 

 

"Excuse me miss jennie kim, i've called and texted you but no reply. Please learn to check your phone. I know i'm not jisoo but still i'm your only best friend." Chahee pout

 

Jennie took out her phone from her pocket and giggled looking at the screen.

 

"Hehe. Im sorry. There's too many things on my mind. I cant think straight." Jennie put her handbag away and crashed herself on the couch beside chahee.

 

"Woooww. Is there anything i need to know??" Chahee frowned her eyebrows.

 

"Im getting married"

 

"OHMYGOD JENNIE HOW COME YOU DID NOT TELL ME! THIS IS A GREAT NEWS OMG! FINALLY I COULD SAY JISOO IS A GENTLEWOMAN. AWW MY FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED. EVEN SOMETIMES YOU'RE BEING Y BUT STILL BABE! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU IN WEDDING DRESS. I CAN EVEN IMAGINE YOU GUYS-" Chahee stop when jennie said something that surprise her

 

"Not with jisoo. Someone else"

 

"YOU WHAT? BUT WHY?! Since when you learn on how to cheat?!" chahee getting confused.

 

"What?! Oh my goodness. Im not cheating! I would never do that to jisoo." jennie sigh

 

"Then who?"

 

"It's my father. He asked me to get married with his best friend's daughter. He said she's a nice girl and i would be happy bla bla. I want to say no, i mean i can, but the last thing i wanna do is to make them upset so i had to. There's no choice for me" 

 

 

"Oh my god, im sorry to hear that jennie. Who is this girl?"

 

"Lisa. Lalisa Manoban"

 

"Lisa? You mean Lisa Manoban? The famous lisa?! Oh my god jennie. Do you know how lucky you are right now? She's everyone's dream girl and you're going to marry her."

 

"For you. But not for me. I love jisoo."

 

"But still, this is lisa we're talking about. I might not know much about her, but trust me jennie, you're going to be in a good hands."

 

"yeah whatever"

 

"How about you and jisoo? Still together or what?"

 

"Yeah we're still together but i dont know. I kind a feel jisoo is pushing me away. Maybe she need some time. I just dont know what to do anymore. I hope after 1 year, everything will be back as usual." jennie lay her head on her best friend shoulder

 

"wait. one year? what does that mean?"

 

"I met lisa the other day. And we had agreed to stick into this marriage for only a year. Well at first she disagreed, but after what i said we came down to a decision which is getting married for only a year."

 

"you what? ergh fine it's up to you, But jennie, i do not agree with you on this. Divorce is not a thing that you can joke around."

 

"i know what i'm doing chahee. Plus lisa had agreed, there should be nothing to worry about"

 

"Fine then"

 

 

 

 

Chahee then hold her hands. 

 

 

 

 

 

"Look jennie, as your best friend, i would like to give some advice. Lisa is the best wife you could ever ask for. Trust me. I have friends that know her personally and so far only positive things that i heard about her. I may not know her but deep down i think she can treat you well. We're like sisters jennie. And i have good feelings about you and her. Just don't be too rough on her. I know how you can act sometime, but please not with her
