A starswept galaxy within your eyes

Vivid in tones of jewel and grey

Wind’s caress makes strands of gold

Fly wild and free like leaves in the autumn

Falling softly to the earth

They twirl and dance and nestle

As the night draws near and the sun fades into muted horizon

The moon rises to fill the empty space

The stars come out to greet your beauty but they could never compare

Like you they just shine
