Chapter 1: i read this twice. the first time was barely a few minutes after i woke up, the ride taking me into the ups and downs almost like i was attached to a kite and a calm breeze wanted me to experience all kind of heights, gently and dreamlike. by the last sentence, i remember just smiling so widely and sinking deeper into my bed, certain that if i were to drift back to sleep at that moment, it would be a sweet dream waiting for me at the other end of the door.

the second time was just now, after i've taken a bath, this time around fully awake. i took in the scenes more slowly, picking up on small things my sleepy brain didn't stop to ponder about. like yujin fixating on nako's simple 'i loved your hair' amidst the pouring praises and flirting she had received way before, like yujin choosing to pay for their meals with her own card instead of wonyoung's, like nako choosing to still call her 'blue ranger' even after she would've known of yujin's name, like nako with compassionate and kindness that doesn't stop her from doing tough things and bold actions.
