[Three years ago... when Sara was 16...]

"SARAH EVANGELINE LEE!!! I WILL NOT ACCEPT THIS!!"

As I ran up to my room I heard my mother screech, but I could care less. I slammed my bedroom door and let my tears flow as I slumped down my door.

I had just told her that I will be moving to Korea to live with my Korean father. You see, my parents have... a complicated relationship. They had once been a happy couple, but then my mom found out one day that my dad had a secret. He was a K-Pop idol, something my mom hated, so they had a big fight, and they didn't separate, but my mom took me and moved to Germany, where she lived out her life, most of the time ignoring me.

She doesn't know, but I've been keeping in touch with my father for the past years, and recently, he sent me a message saying he wants me to move back with him to Korea. Without thinking I had said yes, and the rest... you can connect the dots.
