“Do you think it will be okay?” Naeun asks once the airship takes off, watching as Ba Sing Se gets smaller and smaller. 

Chorong stands at ease beside her, hands clasped behind her back. She doesn’t even blink as she replies, “What will, Namjoo and me trying long distance relationships with two of King Huh Gak’s personal guards, or you being half in love with one of your own personal guards?” 

“I was talking about the treaty we re-signed,” Naeun says, flushing at Chorong’s blunt words about her and Hayoung.

“Oh,” Chorong says. She pauses for a moment then looks away from the window, a slight smile on her face. “That’ll be fine too.”
