Current time: 1:00 PM

"Oh no! I'm going to be late" Eunji and Naeun said aloud, both running to the same meeting spot. A couple minutes of rushing themselves, they managed to get to the spot at the same time. When Eunji and Naeun realized they were both late, they laughed a whole bunch. The both of them walked inside the cafe where the two blind dates they set up for each other will be meeting them.

As they got inside, the two blind dates waved at the both of them to come on over. Both Naeun and Eunji introduced themselves to their respective blind date. 

"A cup of coffee?" Naeun's blind date asked. She shook her head and said that tea would be fine for her. Meanwhile the same exact sequence happened for Eunji and her blind date.

Each interactions the both of them had only got more awkward. Everything seemed quiet, everyone seemed to struggle on what to talk about next. Eunji looking down at her cup of tea, trying to figure out what to ask her blind date next. In that same instance, Naeun would get close to asking a question but would stop short.

"What do I do?" Eunji and Naeun thought to themselves. The both of them found their blind dates physically attractive but it wasn't enough. Nothing seems to be of common interest. Eunji and Naeun both are aspiring artists, Eunji as a singer, and Naeun as a professional artist. But their blind dates both aspire to join the work force and become civil workers. Music tastes were different as well... Last case scenario would be the activities they like to do. Again... Completely opposites from one another.

After 30 minutes passed, the two blind dates took their leave as it was closing time for the cafe. Eunji and Naeun walked out together.

"That wasn't what I expected..." The both of them whispered at the same time. They both caught each other and again laughed it off.

"I don't get it, I totally thought this was it..." Eunji said to Naeun. Naeun holding Eunji and putting Eunji's head on her shoulders. Naeun Eunji's hair to calm her down.

"I even made a wish... I guess shooting stars don't really work do they...?" Eunji sobbed. Naeun's eyes almost popped out of her own head. 

"A wish you said...? A shooting star???" Naeun asked. Eunji wiping her tears with her sleeves and looked directly into Naeun's glaring eyes. "Uh huh a shooting star" Eunji said. Naeun immediately begun tapping on Eunji's shoulders numerous times.

"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Naeun raised her voice. Eunji confused as to what is currently happening.

Naeun then explained to Eunji that she also made the same wish under a shooting star last night. Eunji gasped that they made the same wish at the same time. The both of them confused together as to why it didn't come true. They both decided to take a walk to a nearby river. Which had a bridge connecting it from one city to the other. Eunji and Naeun spent the entire night laughing off the terrible blind date they had. Telling each other jokes, Naeun rolling her eyes at something Eunji said. "That's so lame..." Naeun said, trying to supress a laugh. Eunji told another joke, probably worse than the first, and they both laughed.

They counted numerous places they both wanted to visit, all of them being the same places. Maybe somewhere tropical Naeun suggested. A trip to the Bahamas, Eunji countered. They both adding to the ever increasing list of things they would want to do. It didn't matter that they didn't have the money yet. They both had faith they would check off every item on the list, some day.

Unintentionally the both of them have realized that they were each other's soulmate. It was no wonder it didn't work out with their blind dates, because the both of them were together for so long that it didn't cross their minds.

Two pairs of eyes locked on one another. Refusing to give up, it was a staring contest. Eunji was the first one to cave. Naeun laughed and smiled because she won. Eunji tried denying that she lost because there was something in her eyes. Naeun called the bluff and looked into Eunji's eyes. Finding nothing but a gleam in Eunji's eyes. An intentional silence, a deliberate pause. "Can I?" Naeun asked. As Eunji closed her eyes. Naeun followed suit and the both of them let their lips move on their own.

A whole new feeling, this was a first time for them. It never felt like this before. Love has come to them, their hearts kept trembling. 

"When I look into your eyes, I keep falling into them" Naeun said, as she gave her another gentle kiss. But this time, Naeun wanted to cup Eunji's face as she did it. Everything seemed quiet and frozen. Nothing around them made noise as if this moment was for the two of them.

It's the love that they both wanted, the person they both have been waiting for.
