Lost In Georgia

Lost In Georgia

Jinwoo kept looking at the dancers mesmerized. Beautiful girls in red dresses till their ankles and long hair. Their smiles and dancing skills, they were accompanied by male dancers who jumped in the air and landed on their knees without an ounce of pain, and they kept repeating it with a smile. Jinwoo kept happily clapping feeling the rhythm in his whole body.

When the show was over he took a deep breath. Satisfaction. Even though his eyes were mainly focused on one certain dancer who turned and smiled at him before going backstage with her fellow dancers. Jinwoo froze, did she really notice him.

That moment he tried finding his company as they had left for few minutes. They were supposed to be trying Hinkali, one of the most delicious dishes not many people knew about but definitely had to. Why aren't they back, he thought. The next thing he did was to check the time on his phone. It was getting late, so he couldn't help but panic. He was alone in a foreign country. As he walked stressed he didn't notice the river of Tbilisi even if he had passed The Bridge of Peace few hours ago. Which leaded to his phone falling in there:

"Uhhh! No! Damn it..."

he cried out as he looked around helpless. Georgians were always willing to help but how was he supposed to communicate with them while the two men from his show weren't present. Another wave of panic hit him, but tried using breathing to calm down and focus on the beautiful scenery of the city. Everything was so eye catching with the lights making the capital of Georgia magical.

Next thing to do was to place his hands immediately in his pockets checking how much Lari, money of the country, he had. Not enough for a new phone, but enough for a night to a Hotel and something to eat since even the most delicious foods were, thankfully for him, cheap.

Like a lost puppy we walked the beautiful streets till he found a Hotel, managing to smile again. He spoke English with them and headed to his room. Laying on the comfortable bed with his clothes still on him as he loudly exhaled:

"Finally"

the next morning he woke up with a smile. The country was so relaxing, but the positive mood only lasted until the thought that he's lost came to his mind. He headed in the shower and felt the energy coming back. Got prepared, greeting the workers at the Reception and headed for a light breakfast. Georgians eat a lot, probably the reason they're so strong. He enjoyed his delicious food and as he got up he froze. Giggling came from the near street and as he looked, it was her. The beautiful and definitely skillful dancer.

He his lips trying to find courage to talk to her but she was with her friends, which made him hesitant. Jinwoo didn't want to lose her again, he didn't know why he was acting like this, but this girl was anything he had never seen before. Having no other choice so he followed her. Once again he was mesmerized by her smile, face and voice. Luckily for him, she greeted her friends and headed home. As you were about to insert the keys he found the courage:

"Hey"

"Uhh! Oh my..."

you touched your heart while the keys fell from your hand. Jinwoo reached his hands out:

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you..emm, I'm...lost"

"You scared me. But it's ok"

"You speak English. What a relief"

"You said you're lost. Come, I'll help you"

you said and trusted him inside the house you lived alone. No one could do anything for you if the boy was dangerous. But he was really handsome and something about him made you trust him. Maybe the fact that you didn't forget his face, since the moment you saw him watching your dancing performance. You sat on the sofa and offered him something to eat and drink. He was shy but accepted few from what you gave him. He was obviously hungry, and definitely without money on him:

"Tell me, what exactly happened?"

"I was here with all the staff members of the Survival Show we're having here in Georgia. But they left and never came back"

"Did you try calling them?"

"...well I was stressed and I had a small accident while taking my phone out. I...don't have a phone now. If you call me silly i understand"

"No, no. Not silly at all. So, you probably don't have money on you either. Tell me their phone numbers and I'll let you talk to them"

"I...I don't remember"

he then lowered his face in his palms and without realizing it you caressed his back. Your hand gently touching him:

"It's ok, we'll find another way. So...you saw me dancing"

you continued with a smile trying to distract him. And it worked, he turned to look at you mesmerized like that night. Started talking and getting to know each other. A smile was ready to grow on his lips . He looked at your smile then deep in your eyes, and you suddenly felt unable to breathe, you cheeks warming up and you knew he would get uncomfortable. But no, the opposite. He leaned forward for a kiss and you were ready to close your eyes and accept it until he stopped and cleaned his throat:

"I'm sorry"

there was nothing he had to be sorry about. You both wanted it. And you assured him of that. You had to help him so you got a different idea. Opening your SNS account and searched for the names of the two men. You let him leave them messages and watched as he desperately pressed the buttons. They weren't logged in so you had to wait but till then you offered to show him around to the places he hadn't seen. This time it was his cheeks getting reddish.

You leaded him around but didn't go much away from your house. And later decided to stop at a restaurant where you offered him to drink what Georgia was famous for, it's wine. He was distant at first but once he tried it you could see him feeling both surprised and excited:

"Woah! This is definitely something else."

"Georgian wine"

you proudly said and drank along. You were looking each other in the eyes and that's when you felt his hand on yours. Your heart was beating faster and leaned again for a kiss. But this time you could feel them, his warm lips were on yours. You closed your eyes and enjoyed this magical moment in such a wonderful country. After breaking the kiss he smiled at you and you couldn't hold your happiness smiling back.

Everything happening that moment made both of you feel butterflies in your stomachs. That was until you heard a voice coming near you:

"Jinwoo, where have you been? Why don't you answer your phone?"

it was them, they managed to find the Korean male. What made you smirk was that Jinwoo didn't look happy, he wanted to spend more time with you. So you wrote him your phone number and he placed the paper in his pocket. Promising to meet again. That's when he turned around towards you before leaving:

"Remember that, I never go back to my promises"

a smile forming on both of yours and his lips. The moments you shared together were perfect. And you were willing to wait for each other.
