Jisoo's mom hotel room

"Do you like the soup ? It's kind of bland" auntie kim said
"It's good auntie" jennie took a spoonful of her rice and eat heartily
"My, my, did you not eat last night ?"
The younger girl shook her head, after a heated argument with jisoo, she went home in anger and slept right away.
"Did something happen during the evaluation meeting ?" Jisoo's mom sometimes accompanied her husband to the concert so she knew how it works before and after the concert.
Jennie was not sure if she should say it but nodded anyway
"Seulgi messed up her line once and jisoo went gaga over it. She made her cry"
Auntie kim sighed "That girl and her perfectionist attitude. I didn't even notice seulgi messed up her line"
"But is seulgi okay now ?"
"Yes and she've been practising like crazy since morning"
"I will talk to jisoo later"
"Please auntie, she's so hard on everyone. She wants zero mistakes. All the staffs are afraid of her"
"I knew this would happen. She's never changed" auntie kim massaged her temple "But it's my fault too"
"Huh ?"
"Jisoo grew up lonely. We're too busy to notice that people were using her in her early age. She learned that she can't trust anyone and from then on everything is just a business for her so it's all about gain and loss. Feeling is only a distraction and a source of pain. She avoid it by building a high wall all around herself but i know that deep inside she long for a friend or two"
Jennie became silent
"You know you met jisoo for the first time in high school. Back then, she already had her wall. Even worse than now"
"She was and still a cold hearted person i've ever met, i'm sorry" jennie couldn't help but said whatever on her mind because yes jisoo was a biggest jerk back then and that's why they fought a lot and still now
"It's okay. I received a report from her teacher frequently so i know how she's behaving at school and I was this close to sending her abroad but i try to understand her as her mother. She did that to protect herself"
Auntie kim sniffed "she never caused any harm or bullied other students, she just made a cold persona by distancing herself and did not participate in any school activities. She never had lunch in the cafetaria, never talked to anyone and she didn't have any single friends. I think She just wanted to graduate peacefull
