"Uh, Jennie y'alright?"

His baritone voice made me abruptly stop my ministrations. My husband was looking at me curiously with his soft brown eyes that used to make me feel butterflies before.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I answered curtly while he just sighed in response. I gathered my thoughts and strengthened my resolve to face the bigger problem here. I looked to the front and stared at the woman leaning behind her desk.

"Jennie, this is Ms. Lisa Manoban. Apparently, she will be our Marriage Counsellor." My husband said while trying to introduce me to our 'Therapist' .

In all her glory, there stood the 'almighty' Lisa Manoban. She was wearing a black pants, running over her really long legs. Her body was hugged by her red long sleeves tucked under the  pants, two buttons undone. Her now silver hair cascade past her shoulders, shining under the incandescent bulb. Her eyes were glimmering, somewhat looking amused. Taunting me in all possible way. Her jaw was now more prominent than before, and her lips..

God, that full, plump, red lips..

is damn smirking at me.

"Nice to finally meet you, Mrs. Kim."  Her low voice resonated inside the four walls of her office, making me slightly shiver.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think this is necessary. We'll actually go now. Thank you for your time Ms. Manoban." I looked at her dead in the eye before rolling my eyes at her.

With that said, I walked out of her office with my heels angrily stomping to the floor. I didn't even bother to try wait for my husband.

If you asked me what's worse than having a Marriage Counselling? Right, your ex being the counselor.

' Damn my life, why is this happening to me? '
