Jinki is a gladiator who has had to fight for his life, for the emperor’s amusement. Jonghyun is the emperor’s most trusted warrior, who is in charge of choosing gladiators from the prisoners of war.  When it comes to the next war, Jonghyun has to choose the best gladiator to fight alongside him, which turns out to be Jinki. When Jinki saves his life, he falls in love and plans on defecting.
