Youngjae definitely didn't have a hard time getting accepted by residency programs after he graduated from med school, his outstanding results earned him a place at one of the most desirable hospitals in the country but here's the thing. Despite knowing that he's very competent, there is always something in his head telling him that he's going to up.

He tends to be a little fidgety, nervous, uneasy and quiet when faced with new situations or with people he doesn't know that well. Don't get him wrong, he's not incapable of handling social situations, not at all, but the second he caught the eye of a very handsome and talented doctor all reason turns to mush in Youngjae's head.

This is sO heavily influenced by Grey's Anatomy that it hurts. so if this is familiar to anyone, this fic is based on the storyline of Levi and Nico. I'm not going to follow every single action of the show but their characters will be somewhat similar and I will probably keep some things related to the plot the same as in the show
