Chapter 43: Hi, Mesa. :)
Thank you so much for providing a review of the story and for giving comments as you read the chapters along the way. It may seem selfish, but I honestly joined this contest with getting feedback in mind - to know that the story was getting read. Hence I tried to choose whichever prompts seemed most fitting.
Ah, I admit, characterization can be quite difficult to handle sometimes. And yeah, endings are also tricky to do. I'll try to be more mindful of those aspects in the future.
This story was definitely beyond my comfort zone, as you've probably noticed. So honestly, I don't think I'm writing anything like this anytime soon, lol.
Thanks again for the comments. I know I have weaknesses when it comes to writing, so I do appreciate constructive criticism. But thank you for the kind words and for your understanding. I really appreciate it. :)

Chapter 44: Congratulations to everyone!

no freaking wayyyy ༼☯﹏☯༽ Okay, I uh, I need a moment? lmao. first of all THANK YOU SO MUCH to the judges!! I was new to AFF when I saw the contest and I really pondered on whether I should join or not because 1) I worried maybe I wouldn't finish on time, and 2) I wasn't that confident of my skills but I really wanted to try anway because even if I didn't win, I was sure I'd enjoy the journey and learn something from it, THANK YOUUUU. Thank you for hosting the contest, for taking the time to give all the writers constructive criticism (which really helped me a lot, and I do take notes of them! I hope I could improve more as I continue writing! altho probably not exo fanfiction anymore ooft) and just overall the effort you guys had here. I actually really had a lot of fun in this contest! It just feels so surreal to me...I dropped a school office just because I wanted to focus on writing, which probably seems lame, but that was my way of telling myself it's about time I took the time to give priority to my hobbies instead of just studying 24/7 lmao, and this contest really helped me with this, thanks soooo much aaaaaahhhh

I do agree that the foreword could be better (in fact, I'm not satisfied with my foreword at ALLLL xd) and that the last two chapters could definitely be better than how I had written it! I admit it felt a little rushed on my part because I wrote it a few days before finals and I was so eager to finish my story that it probably felt like it had cut off quickly, but I also couldn't find any other way to improve it :/// It took a LOT of time to choose an ending and OOP I guess we got this one. But yes I do agree, I want to make Baekhyun's feelings clearer at the end. Hopefully, someday, I could revamp this to bring out its utmost potential. Nevertheless, I am extremely over the moon right now, the fact you guys took time to read and judge my story thank you so much I cannoottttt lmfaooo it's the start of my semester again and my first day kicked off into a good start, thank you so much! Congrats to everyone as well, this was definitely a really fun journey! again, thank you so much and congrats to everyone!

Chapter 44: Okay i have finally took a nice but suspenseful shower and im back. One of the main reasons why i was freaking out bc i totally did not expect you’d post the result in UTC time (same as bidding)!! And two, i was feeling very doubtful bc my judge stopped leaving comments at a very very critical phase of the story, so i was like “has she reached the end o.O thats kinda unfair isnt it” . But i gave the benefit of the doubt that maybe shes saving it for later in the review. And i gotta say im so sad that i will live through the suspense waiting for your review bc i asked for one hahahah ;( but anyway thank you for hosting this contest! I was almost withdrawing in this contest with my first entry (Manned), and got third place for a different entry that i wasnt planning to enter! Haha Thank you Syd again for the reconsideration and for judging my entry. thank you so much Syd, Hanin, and Mesa! And congratulations to all winners and who participated and the judges!!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their time! Much suspense phew

Chapter 42: First of all, congratulations to all who won and who partook of this contest! Thanks to all the judges and everyone who contributed a part!
I'm still speechless I won second place; it feels dreamlike. I honestly didn't keep my hopes up because I knew my story was confusing. Nevertheless, I was grateful to have it read at all. That's why I feel all the more grateful to receive second place.
Thank you to Blackwhiskers who judged my Arco and for sharing such kind words as I could not have expected. I feel bad for making you look up certain words so thank you all the more for your time. It being the second instance I'm told the story's not for everyone makes me affirm the notion, but that's okay with me haha
In the end, I just wanted to write this story but to receive second place means so much to me.

Chapter 41: Congratulations to the winners and to everyone who entered! The way you guys presented the winners is so cool. That was a suspenseful way to break the winners, omg. Gotta take notes if I ever want to host a contest again, lol. Kudos to the panel of judges as well. You guys are the mvps for for reading a lot of works and for actually managing to rank each entry. Congrats overall for successfully completing this contest! ^^
