ROSÉ happily entered their dressing room after she took pictures with her fans and received gifts from them which are mainly edible, tasty stuff. She was humming to herself because of the feast that she’ll be having later at night when she noticed Lisa and Jennie looking very focused while browsing the pictures uploaded by their fan sites on a bird app. (A/N: credits to the owners to the following pictures)

“What’s with those serious faces?” Rosé asked as she moved towards them.

“We are looking at Irene-unnie’s photos.” Lisa answered.

“Her visual today is really out of this world.” Jennie commented before passing the tablet to Rosé and the latter’s lips rounded.

“Phew~! She’s insane for this!” Rosé shook her head while looking at Irene’s pictures. Sometimes she still couldn’t believe how gorgeous the Vampire Princess is. Irene being pretty is already a given but there are times that she would be just so breathtaking that one would take hours before they could move on with one photo.

“The last picture that she uploaded on her IG made people delirious as well.” Lisa commented. “Everyone changed their icons to that picture.”

Rosé nodded. There’s no other way but to agree with what Lisa said. Everyone got delirious that makeup tutorials were even made for that one IG post and the views are overwhelming as well. Girls started posting their selcas with a hashtag #IreneMorningLook and forums are filled with that picture of Irene as well. There are countless times that the said picture made a cameo on TV shows.

“But you have to see the next picture after that, Unnie.” Jennie said before swiping right for Rosé and the eldest eyes widened.

“What is wrong with this one?” Rosé innocently asked but she was answered by a judging stare from Jennie.

“Don’t tell me you didn’t notice it?” Jennie asked. “Irene-unnie always gives fans a wide, refreshing smile but that smile is just…”

“Shy yet endearing.” Lisa gave the words that Jennie couldn’t even re-call.

“Exactly!” Jennie gave Lisa a smile. “She looks shy yet her eyes look really happy and surprised at the same time. 

Rosé let out a gasp with her sudden realisation. “Don’t tell me… she came?”

“Unexpectedly, yes.” Everyone turned to Sakura who came with gifts in her hand. Who says a manager can’t be popular to the fans as well? In fact, Sakura even has her own fan club. Her visuals are just so striking that fans are bound to notice her. She also was known to be the manager who looks like an ex-Japanese idol phenomenon. “It is my first time seeing her come to one of our events. I believe Joohyun already went to see her.”

“It seems like things are really going well with the both of them.” Rosé commented. “I guess the kiss they shared to break the spell really helped with their relationsh—”

The three jerked when Sakura suddenly coughed as she almost choked while drinking her tomato juice.

“Are you okay?” Jennie worriedly asked while Rosé ran to give her some tissues to wipe her lips. Lisa was just watching everything.

“Kkura, you don’t have to drink like you haven’t had anything for days. Look at what happened to you.” Rosé joked but she just received a sharp look from the senior vampire. Sakura then rolled her eyes and sighed.

“Have any of you seen Jisoo?” She asked while looking around.

“I heard that her mother came today so I guess she went to meet her.” Rosé answered.

“Her mother?” Sakura repeated in a higher pitch. It seems like she suddenly felt excited after hearing that news. “Let me go and see them. See you girls later.”

Sakura dashed out of the room which left the other three startled.

“I don’t know if Sakura is our group’s manager or Jisoo’s personal manager.” Rosé shook her head followed by a deep sigh. She then turned to Jennie and noticed her dark expression. Rosé gave her a light tap on the back.

“So, do you guys wanna go to a spa tonight?”

IRENE is seen running in the hallway while looking for that special someone. She’s on a rush. She can’t help but be excited to meet that person. The Vampire Princess was really surprised to see her in the crowd while cheering for them and she was even holding Irene’s slogan.

She felt so happy knowing that she came to cheer and support her up. She badly wanted to meet her quickly that’s why she immediately went to look for her right after their performance ended. She didn’t even go to change her clothes first.

“Irene-ssi, good job on today’s performance as well.”

“Irene-ssi, you’re really stunning today!”

“Irene-ssi, that wink you made earlier made a lot of people cry!”

‘Thank you everyone but can you all just please let me through?’ Irene thought to herself when everyone that sees her goes up and says something to her. She can’t do anything but to give them at least short responses but she really can’t wait anymore. She has to go and see that person that wasn’t able to meet for three days straight now because of her job. She has to go and see her…

Kang Seulgi.

A wide smile curved up of Irene’s lips when she finally had a sight of the said Shaman Princess who is watching their group's ad on a huge monitor.

“What the…” Irene crossed her arms. “What is she being cool for while wearing that leather jacket?”

Irene was about to call her when a certain someone suddenly popped out behind Seulgi and gave her a tap on her shoulder. A frown immediately took over Irene’s face.

“Seulgi-unnie!” Jisoo called out. “Long time no see! How are you doing these days~?”

The Princess was evidently surprised by Jisoo's sudden appearance but she managed to give her a smile in no time. “Jisoo-ya! Nice to see you again! Why are you here though?”

“My mother came today and I went to greet her before she went back home.” Jisoo enthusiastically answered. “I am really happy to see her and hug her after a very long time~! Anyway, do you want me to call Irene-unnie? I am sure you came here because of her.”

Seulgi gave her a meaningful smile. “It’s fine. I will just wait until Joohyun is done with everything.”

“Are you sure?” Jisoo asked once more which Seulgi answered with a nod.

“Do you guys have another schedule after this?” The Shaman Princess inquired while scratching her cheek.

“Let’s see~” Jisoo thought aloud. “I believe there is nothing. Our next single is still being choreographed. We might start recording soon but I believe we’ll have some nice vacation before we start with the preparations again. Holidays~”

“I see. That’s cool then.” A playful smirk was then seen on Seulgi’s face, even her eyes were smiling. She knows exactly what it means for the group to be on a vacation—Irene will be home.

“I will also be home for a while since my mother really wanted to cook for me. I also miss the meals she prepares.” Jisoo looked really lovely while talking about her mother. You can see how much the girl loves her. Seulgi couldn’t help but to smile.

“It must be nice…” She said, more of a sigh. “Having a mother cook for your meals.”

Jisoo was taken aback for a while. Remembering the scenes of Seulgi and Irene’s wedding, she realised that she only met Seulgi’s father but not her mother. Back then she was really surprised and confused of what’s happening that she missed that detail of the ceremony.

Seulgi smiled at her reaction. “My mother… died when I was very young. I have no memories of her.”

The other lady gave out a very sad expression. Her hunch was right. Seulgi, noticing how she feels sorry, placed her palm on top of her head. “Why are you suddenly sad?

“I thought I just opened a sad topic.” Jisoo worriedly answered but Seulgi just laughed at her.

“There’s nothing to be sad about. It might be the case but I am already used to it. You don’t have to be sad for me, Jisoo.” Seulgi smiled widely at her to assure her that nothing was wrong.

“I don’t know, Unnie… I just feel really sad.” Jisoo forced a smile and looked back at Seulgi. “How about visiting our home once? I will have my mother cook for you. She really cooks tasty meals!”

Seulgi laughed as she took her hand back. “Alright. Tell me when I can come and I will try to visit.”

“Really? That’s really cool—”

“EHEM.”

The two turned to the source of that forced throat-clearing sound. Jisoo’s face immediately lightened up.

“Sakura~!” The human hopped to where Sakura was and the girl greeted her with a warm smile.

“Hello, Sakura-unnie.” Seulgi greeted her with a smile.

“Fancy seeing you here, Seulgi-ya.” Sakura said with a stoic face. “I know this girl isn’t your purpose for coming here so can I take Jisoo now?”

Seulgi was a bit surprised but she felt like she already knew what Sakura was inferring. “Of course.” She thriftily answered. “See you around, Unnie, Jisoo.”

Jisoo energetically waved at Seulgi before leaving with Sakura. Seulgi just watched them walk away hearing faintly about Sakura’s inquiry of Jisoo’s mother. Seulgi’s shoulder dropped right after they disappeared from her sight.

“A mother, huh?” She just shrugged her shoulders and turned to the side only to see the very person that she came for.

“Rusty~” She called out with a cute smile on her fluffy face. That smile immediately warmed Irene’s heart who was just flaring with jealousy moments ago. Apparently, jealousy in her blood really runs wild. Until now, she couldn’t forgive the fact that Seulgi’s first kiss was not her.

“Seulgi-ya~” Irene called back as she walked towards her wife. “I saw you earlier. You surprised me a lot!”

“I didn’t even think that you would see me.” Seulgi scratched the back of her head. “I was holding your banner like a crazy kid.

“It’s not even our concert. We were just part of the guests. How come you have a banner of me?” Irene asked, trying to act cool but in fact her heart is being swayed by that supportive side of Seulgi.

“Well… I have a friend who loves buying things like this. I just asked her where to buy it.” Seulgi truthfully answered with that friend whose high notes are higher than most people’s dreams.

Seulgi went to look back at Irene but she caught her staring at her and their stares locked just like that making their faces resemble a ripe tomato. They immediately averted their stares.

“W-Well…” Seulgi stammered. “I just want to ask if…” She took a peek at the other lady. “…If you are coming home today.”

Irene felt her heart tightened for a bit, getting dry and watering. She looked in another direction to make sure that Seulgi wasn't seeing her flustered face. Her eyes were actually on the verge of changing its colour that time.

“O-Of course. We’ll be having another short break.” Irene had to turn her back to Seulgi because she could feel how much she was getting excited already. The happenings on the last time she had Seulgi’s blood had a quick rewind at the back of her head. Just that thing made her really ecstatic. “You don’t want me to go home?”

Seulgi was suddenly taken aback. Irene is obviously acting all tsundere again but she sincerely thought that she made a mistake somewhere along their conversation.

“No! Of course, I would love to see you home!” Seulgi said in an impulse which made her really embarrassed moments after the words left her lips. Her voice started trailing. “I… actually came to pick you up just in case you don’t have anything to do after this. I am, you see… actually pretty glad that you can come home with me today.”

This time, Irene took a peek at the shy Seulgi. The expression on the other girl’s face just made her heart crazy. She looked around and saw that everyone is busy with what they are doing. Taking a deep breath, she reached for Seulgi and held her pinky finger. Seulgi jerked at the sudden contact, making her look at the red burgundy-haired girl.

“I’ll just change my clothes then come back…” Irene said while shyly looking up at her. “Wait a bit, okay?”

“WHAT do you want?” The other burgundy-haired idol that was also part of the show asked her junior who was waving at her while wearing that mischievous smile. It seemed like she wasn't with her twin sister that time. 

“Good day, Minjoo-sunbae~” Yujin greeted her with smiling eyes as well. “You were really shining brightly on stage earlier! Did you hear how much the crowd was cheering for you?”

Minjoo’s frown deepened as she couldn’t comprehend what the girl in front of her was inferring. “Tell me exactly what you want. Why are you here? Are you still going to bother me about meeting the Shaman Princess?”

Yujin also frowned. “Don’t be so mean. I did come here to actually watch you perform.”

Again, Minjoo was taken aback. Yuri is also around but she knows so well that there is also something more fishy than her mermaid friend. 

“Where is Wonyoung?” Minjoo asked, which kinda erased the smile completely off of Yujin’s face. “If you really came here just to watch the performance then Wonyoung should be here as well, right?”

Yujin rolled her eyes. “Well, she did come. But we had a fight over the last piece of beef last night so we are not talking to each other. She already went home and left me without a car.”

The senior just scoffed. “Kids…”

Yujin took a deep breath before pocketing her hands. She was wearing loose clothes and a cap that actually speaks more of her personality. It’s too far from the elegant, neat looking grey-haired lycan that Minjoo saw that day of the wedding. 

“So, are you going to help me meet the Shaman Princess?” Yujin asked.

Minjoo’s shoulders dropped as her tired eyes landed in Yujin's way. “Are you going to ask me that again? What do you really want? Why do you want to meet the Shaman Princess? Do you think that I, being the daughter of the duke and a cousin of Irene-unnie, can just set an appointment to meet up with Princess Seulgi? Well, to make it clear to you, that’s impossible!”

“But--”

“But what? You are going to tell everyone that their love for each other is--”

“Minjoo-ssi, good job on today’s performance!” 

Their conversation was suddenly halted when staff members came passing. Minjoo immediately switched on her idol mode and greeted them back before quickly turning it off and pulling Yujin on a corner. Yujin, on the other hand, didn’t seem to dislike being dragged like that by Minjoo.

“Again, if you are thinking of telling everyone that their love for each other is fake then I can assure you one thing--People already know about it. It was just a fixed marriage and everyone knows that Irene-unnie was supposed to be wed to Prince Euigeon. D
