JiEun was watching the behind-the-scenes of Jaewook's latest drama episode where they had their first kiss. She wasn't going to watch any, as with all of Jaewook's previous dramas, but the growing buzz regarding his chemistry with Minyoung finally got to her. She needed to see for herself.

JE: Why are you smiling like that around her oppa? Clearly she is just being methodical about the kissing angle...and you are nervous for what reason?

She paused the video and zoomed in on him. Seolma...? Was he really interested in her? What is all this shyness about? He couldn't even look her in the eye after the kiss? Her stomach turned and she felt like throwing up...all the memories of him in his past relationships started reappearing...

JiEun's hands are now curled into fists and she could almost feel her heart breaking.  Not again...aniya... (she shook her head). Her eyes were getting blurry and she could not think straight...Dongwook oppa...

She quickly dialed his number...

DW: Uh JiEun ahhh...wh

JE: Why didn't you tell me oppa? How could you...!!!!

DW: What's going on? Wha...are you crying?

JE: He likes her doesn't he?? Ahhh...I can't take this!! You know I can't...you must've known and you didn't tell me?

DW: Who...Minyoung ssi?

JE: Don't say her name!! 

DW: JiEun ahh...calm down. She doesn't feel that way about him...Jaewook...he

JE: Did he confess? Did she reject him?...is that why you didn't tell me? Because she is dating right now...so she told him that? 

DW: Well...not exactly...

JE: Then?? 

DW: He couldn't confess...she told him to treat her like his sister...so he sort of

JE: He gave up? But that was not the look of a man who has given up...I saw..

DW: It takes time JiEun ahhh...you haven't given up too right? It's the same thing...yihaejwo (try to understand him)...

JE: How is that the same? I have been by his side for many years...and not once did he look at me that way..he doesn't fall so easily for anyone...but now after just a month? Seriously?

DW: It's only one-sided...because as you said she has someone and is dating in secret, of course she wouldn't accept him...

JE: I'll tell him that...then this will all be over..

DW: Lee JiEun! Why do you want to do that to him when it's not even necessary? Let him sort it out...I have let so many things you did to him pass...but this time I'm not gonna sit still (getting frustrated)...we are talking about two people getting hurt because of you here...

JE: But oppa...I

DW: Don't compromise Minyoung's secret relationship.  What did she ever do to you? I could've told Sunmi but I didn't...And let Jaewook sort out his own feelings..so just let people be...

JE: ...but he hasn't given up

DW: He will.  If he ever confesses...she will tell him the same reason we know. So just let her do it herself. There's no need to hurt Jaewook in the process. I won't let anyone do that... and don't let me choose between you and him...cause you know my answer. Arasso?

Dongwook had no choice because he knew what she was capable of. But talking to Jaewook about JiEun was no use. He won't believe him anyway. Both he and Sunmi have tried. He half wished that Minyoung wasn't already in a relationship. This girl needs a reality check.
