“Like after your hihihihihihi lunch with her” Tzuyu giggles mockingly at Chaeyoung “What’s the next step?”

Oh… Chaeyoung was too busy hihihihi about her lunch date, she didn’t have time to think about the next step. She was having so much fun thinking of her past, that she didn’t think of what she wants to happen in the future.

Why is Chaeyoung so clueless? But don’t worry, because Cupid Tzu was ready to shoot her arrows right at Chaeyoung’s head. She yanks Chaeyoung’s phone and shoves the phone right at Chaeyoung’s chest.

Chaeyoung usually don’t have problems with texting girls, but this isn’t just any girl this is Mina…

“B-but… W-what will I say?”

“Just tell her thank you, you had such an awesome time.”

Chaeyoung’s brow scrunches seriously as she text…

“Ok, ok, ok…So, listen to this Tzu… here’s my text… Hi Mina smiley face…”

Tzuyu roll her eyes…

“Thanks for spending lunch with me, I had such an awesome time… smiley face…”

Then she turns to Tzuyu with a questioning look…

“Or should I put a merong face? What do you think is much better, a smiley face or a merong face?”

“You should put a derp face. Cause that’s what it is! A derp text. I had an awesome time?” Tzuyu gives Chaeyoung an incredulous look “Geez Chaeng… any guy could just text that.”

Tzuyu didn’t do anything but deepen the frown in Chaeyoung’s face. She put her whole heart and brain in that text.

“You have to text something that only you and Mina could get. Make it special you know…”

Tzuyu slaps Chaeyoung on the back…

Despite staring at the computer monitor for hours, Mina couldn’t help but have a goofy smile on her face for quite some time now. She was still feeling a lightheaded, her head totally in the clouds as all she could think about was her lunch date with Chaeyoung.

Nayeon jumps up from her desk when she heard someone let out a squeal at the desk behind her.

“Hey! What’s with you?!” Nayeon peeks her head in curiosity.

“You and your brownies are both awesome… merong face…” Nayeon roll her eyes as Mina squeals again… “They’re worth getting a few extra pounds in… lol”

Mina gasps at Nayeon then turns back on her phone.

“Geez Mina, you’re overthinking it… the girl name her restaurant after you… you probably could tell her you have poop in your pants and she would still like you…”

Tzuyu was so close at yanking the phone of Chaeyoung’s hand and lunging it at the wall after seeing Chaeyoung check her phone for the millionth time in ten minutes.

“Tzu, it’s been ten minutes! She haven’t replied yet…”

“Well… if she replies to you, then wait for ten minutes too before replying back…”

“Yeah… you’re right Tzu, I should… I need to play hard to get…”

Chaeyoung scrambles to get her phone and starts punching Tzuyu in excitement…

“Shuddup… anyways… she text me… Hey Chaeng smiley face… I had a great time too, smiley face… you’re still the best chef ever smiley face… So, maybe next time you could bring the brownies merong face.”

Cupid Tzu taps her finger thoughtfully on her chin before saying...

“Hmmm… I think it’s time to take it to the next level…”

Next level? But Chaeyoung didn’t even came out of this level alive…

“I think it’s time to bring her to the Tigers basketball game”

Mina turns away from her computer and looks at the delivery man holding a package.

“I’m Mina… why?”

“Ok… just sign here” Handing Mina his clipboard “And here…”

As soon as the delivery man left, everyone in Mina’s office gathered around Mina’s desk trying to peek in the box.

“What do you think it is?” Nayeon asks excitedly as Mina was unwrapping the box… “It’s from lover girl, could it be food? Jewelry? Oh I know… “It’s lingerie”

Knowing Chaeyoung’s personality, there was a huge chance that Chaeyoung could have sent her one. The only thing Mina could do now is pray silently that Chaeyoung had the decency not to give her one, or if she did at least send it to her house.

Mina let out a sigh of relief when she saw what’s inside the box…

After seeing the smile Mina has after reading Chaeyoung’s note, Nayeon couldn’t help but jump in curiously to see what it’s written in it. But Mina was ninja enough to hide the note away…

Chaeyoung plops back to her seat and starts to nibble on Mina’s popcorn… Mina turns and sees people exiting the building…

“People are leaving, Chaeng…”

“LET THEM! THOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT REAL FANS…” Chaeyoung cups her hand around “DON’T WORRY TIGERS I WILL STAY WITH YOU TIL THE END!!!”

And Chaeyoung and Mina stayed until the last buzzer.

Mina nudges a lifeless Chaeyoung as they were walking back to the parking lot.

“It’s okay Chaeng…”

Chaeyoung just remains quiet, her head wasn’t in the right place right now, all her mind could process was the heartbreaking loss.

“Chaeng?”

Mina asks in worry as she sees Chaeyoung’s eyes b in tears and Chaeyoung’s lips quivering…

“Chaeng? Are you…” Mina peers in to see Chaeyoung’s face “Are you crying?”

Chaeyoung couldn’t hold out the pain that was stabbing her chest and pour all of her frustrations out…

Mina took a step away when Chaeyoung starts to cry, but not a few seconds pass and Mina took the sobbing girl around her arm, letting Chaeyoung cry in her chest.

“They fought so hard, why is life so unfair?”

Mina tries to soothe Chaeyoung’s broken heart, by cooing softly at her.

“That’s how life goes… Chaeng…”

“But still” Chaeyoung sniffles “I can’t believe it… is there a God? Is God cheering for the other team? Why can’t he let the tigers win?”

Chaeyoung couldn’t even dare look at Tzuyu in the face after she reveals what happen to her.

“I couldn’t help it… I was so emotional that time…” Chaeyoung defended herself…

“I should slap you for being such a WUSS!!! You know what I’m going to call you now? I’m going to call you Son Wussy! Cause that’s what you are, a wuss…”

Now Chaeyoung really regrets telling Tzu…

“Whatever… Tzu…”

“So, what are you going to do about it, Wussy?”

“Does Mina plan to see you again? I mean if I were her, I won’t date such a wussy. Pffft…” Tzuyu drinks her frapuccino noisily “All talk and no game… that’s you Son Wussy!”

Chaeyoung smiles thankfully at the receptionist who was making googly eyes at her. But it didn’t stop at the receptionist, everyone in Mina’s office are giving her the I’m going to rip you out of your clothes look. And Chaeyoung quickly went to the safest looking one among those creatures, the elementary school girl.

“Hi…”

“Oh lover girl hi…”

“Huh?” Chaeyoung looks surprise cause she was sure she haven’t met the girl before…

“Mina has a meeting with the bosses, but just wait on her desk… she’ll be out in…”

And just like it was on cue…

“Oh there she is… Look Mina, lover girl is here…”

Mina’s eyes widen as Nayeon just spurted out her nickname right in front of Chaeyoung.

“W-who’s lover girl?” Chaeyoung asks…

“Are you crazy?” Nayeon scoffs “You’re lover girl… that’s what Mina calls you… lover girl…”

“Wae?”

Chaeyoung looks at Mina trying to figure out the stuff she just learned but Mina was blushing too hard to care.

“Ummm… let’s go Chaeng…”

Mina quickly pulls Chaeyoung away from everyone’s maniacal looks.

“I’m sorry to barge in like this, but I brought lunch would you like to eat it with me…”

It was pretty quiet during their whole lunch. Both girls suffering after their ultimate humiliation, none of them knew how to even start a conversation.

“I’m sorry I cried…”

It was Chaeyoung who spoke up first…

“What?”

“I’m surprise you still want to hang out with me after what happen…”

Chaeyoung’s gaze was stuck on her bento box and Mina couldn’t help but admire how adorable the girl is, more and more each second.

“I think it was cute…” Mina confessed

And just like that, the frustrated pout turned into a hopeful grin. “Ummm… you did?”

“Yeah… I think I like this side more than the cocky Son Chaeyoung, I first knew…”

“But you like that cocky Son Chaeyoung, right?”

Mina leans back in the park bench before letting out a sigh. It was almost two years ago, but Mina remember every second of their moments together from the first time they’ve met until the time where she picked Ryujin over Chaeyoung.

“It was a different kind of like…” Mina then looks teasingly at Chaeyoung “I think we both know what kind of like it was…”

Chaeyoung answers Mina back with the same teasing grin.

“Well… we did something I like… so maybe this time, we should do something you would like… do you still like to travel?”

“Well… I stop traveling after ummm…” Mina didn’t want to say when she and Ryu were together “Anyways, I can’t travel as much too because I work…” Mina pouts thoughtfully

“Well, I’m part of a book club.” Mina says excitedly.

“Whoah… you know how to read?”

Mina punch Chaeyoung playfully in the arm…

“No… this is good Mina, were knowing things about each other… and I like it… I like a smart girlfriend…”

Both Chaeyoung and Mina had a teasing smile after hearing the word girlfriend…

“I like reading books, like when I’m waiting for my flight or I’m on the plane… but since I’m not traveling anymore, I could finally sit down and spend time reading… I like it because I get the chance to talk to other people what they think about the book and it’s good because I get to see different points that other people have.”

Chaeyoung just felt herself falling more for Mina each second.

“We’re having a meeting in my place.”

“Could ummm…”

Mina turns at the nervous looking Chaeyoung.

“Could ummm… could I join the meeting?”

“Of course…”

“COOL!” Chaeyoung then had a brilliant idea “I could prepare something for them if you want…”

“Really? You’re ok doing that?”

“Of course… I’m the one who offered… So, yeah…”

Mina tries to sneak in behind the gorgeous chef, she was about to wrap her arms around Chaeyoung’s slim waist but she caught herself before she could do it. She likes the pace that they’re going through now, she doesn’t want to rush it at all.

“So, did you read your book?”

Chaeyoung didn’t know how to say it, she wasn’t into books but she did red the summary in wikipedia…

“Ummm not really… But I know that the guy dies in the end.”

“Well, maybe you would learn more about the book during the meeting…”

“Maybe…” Chaeyoung shrugs… “Here, try this…”

Chaeyoung feeds Mina a fudge brownie…

“How’s my brownie?”

Chaeyoung was definitely an awesome cook…

“Makes my brownie taste like crap.”

Chaeyoung smiles proudly before continually stirring what’s brewing in the pot. Chaeyoung might now be into books, but she took the time to research what kind of recipes works best for a book club. She wanted to make Mina the best one out there.

While Mina have the nickname of making people fall for her in 3 seconds, Chaeyoung has a nickname too… She could make clothes fall off in 3 seconds. Mina was beautiful while Chaeyoung was just devilishly charming. She knew the right words to say at the right moment.

The book club should just change their name into a Chaeyoung club because in one night, she got those girls twisted around her pretty little finger.

She didn’t do it on purpose though, she was just that good…

While Chaeyoung went back to the kitchen to check on the dessert, the members of the book/Chaeyoung club took this opportunity to hound Mina about the girl.

“You two aren’t dating, right?”

It somehow worried Mina, that Chaeyoung was just a natural flirt who enjoys toying with people’s emotions. She totally drew all the attention to her. Even if she knows Chaeyoung’s attention was on her, judging by Chaeyoung’s stares, still she couldn’t help but worry.

Once a player, always a player? Is that the same case for Chaeyoung too?

“Us? Ummm well… why?”

“Good… cause I think I would go for her.”

Chaeyoung broke the silence when she announce…

“Ok… I got dinner all set…”

“So, ummm… Chaeyoung…“

But before any of the book club members can make a move on Chaeyoung, Chaeyoung have already stop them by affectionately wrapping her arm around Mina’s waist. As if proudly announcing that Mina was her girl. Chaeyoung have cling on to Mina the entire night, her arm around Mina’s waist or her hand wrap around Mina’s hand…

The whole club could have all their attention at her, but her attention was all on Mina.

The night ended with the girls saying their good night to Chaeyoung rather than Mina.

“Good night Chaeng, you should come to the next book club meeting…”

“Yes…” Another girl step in “We’re having it in my house next…”

A few more flirtatious advances and jealous stares at Mina and finally Mina and Chaeyoung were left alone.

“Hey… I think your book club likes me…” Chaeyoung says casually…

“A little too much, don’t you think?”

Chaeyoung have been itching to pull Mina close to her the whole night and now that it’s just the two of them, there wasn’t anything stopping her. She wraps both her arms around Mina’s waist and presses herself closely to the girl.

“Could you tell me what the book was about?”

Mina snake her arms slowly around Chaeyoung’s shoulders. “Huh?”

“I couldn’t concentrate because I was too busy staring at you…”

Mina slaps the girl playfully in her arm, before Chaeyoung buries her head in the nook of Mina’s neck. The two remained quiet for a little bit, swaying softly to the imaginary song in their head.

“I hate it when reality distracts me from thinking of you…” Chaeyoung softly whispers…

“What are we going to do about that?” Mina whispers back…

Chaeyoung smiles before leaning her forehead against Mina. “Ummm… be in my reality too…”

Mina pouts cutely… “I thought I already am?”

“It’s not enough…”

“What do you mean?”

“I want to do everything with you, I want to hold your hand, to kiss you good morning, good afternoon and good night, to be the first person you would text when you get up and the last one before you go to sleep, I want to pick you up and take you home…”

Chaeyoung traces feathery kisses along Mina’s neck after every confession.

“I want you to be the girl that I would wake up to, be the girl that I fall asleep with…”

Now Chaeyoung’s gentle kisses, turned sensual as she nibbles along Mina’s jawline...

“Be the girl I could call mine, be the girl that own me… Mina, stop staying in my dreams and be my reality…”

And Mina have enough of Chaeyoung’s teasing, crashing her lips on Chaeyoung’s…

The bedroom was just a few steps away, but it’s a few steps too far and they have waited two long years to be with each other again. So, right now the living room rug is just perfect. A few frustrated grunts was let out by both girls when buttons and zippers were taking longer to work, as if teasing them more that eventually Chaeyoung just ripped the everything out.

Chaeyoung was ready to take Mina again, the girl trapped underneath her, both her wrists lock on top of her head while Chaeyoung’s hand tiptoes down Mina’s flat stomach. But just as Chaeyoung was about to take her, she saw the smile on Mina’s face and the animal in Chaeyoung tamed down.

This wasn’t just any girl, this was her girl and Chaeyoung will take care of her girl.
She let go of Mina’s wrist and pressing her forehead against Mina, leaning closer to lay kisses on Mina’s lips. Every kiss longer than the once before, Mina wraps her arms around Chaeyoung’s neck, pulling her close because all she needed was one kiss, one kiss they could get lost in forever.

And for once in both their lives, everything just felt so right. Their tongues searching for more, it ease only when Mina felt Chaeyoung touched her that their kisses stop, because just like before Chaeyoung’s touches renders her senseless. Mina felt so helpless as Chaeyoung took over her, but it was a beautiful kind of helpless, something she didn’t mind getting trapped in. She needed Chaeyoung to take her deeper, but before she could even say it, she just let out a smile because it was as if Chaeyoung knew exactly what she needed, giving her even more than what she craved for.

Moans have erupted across the room, fingers digging deeper to whatever it could hold on to… But Chaeyoung didn’t just want Mina like this, she wanted to hear it… she needed to hear it…
