Romantic retard, Mark Tuan was facing a big problem.

"You're going to what?" Jinyoung aka best friend 2.0 questioned him with his eyes widened.

"Ask her to marry me?" Mark replied in an "isn't that obvious and I just mentioned it earlier" tone with an eye roll.

"No no, before that." Jaebum aka best friend 2.5 interrupted the conversation.

"I only said I'm going to ask her to marry me." Mark answered again, letting out an exasperated sigh. "Is it that hard to understand?"

Six of them shared a glance at each other and then back to their friend.

"Just like this?" Jackson aka best friend 1.0 asked. "A question? Nothing else?"

"How else should I do it?"

"He's asking for a rejection." Bambam aka little bro 1.5 leaned closer to Yugyeom, little bro 2.0 and whispered. "Definitely a rejection."

"I heard that." Mark threw the two younger boys a glare. "Youngjae, what do you think?"

The said boy aka the nicer friend gave him a sheepish grin.

"You're asking for a rejection." He repeated what Bambam had said which the others folded their arms and nodded in agreement.

"Knowing Nayeon, she will reject you."

"And if you're lucky, maybe only water will be splashed into your face. Like in the dramas."

"Or if you didn't even provide a glass of water, she might kick you hard."

"Slap you, maybe?"

"But Nayeon can get pretty violent too, right?"

Silence filled the air for a few moments before seven different voices cancelled it.

"Right."

"But seriously, you're just going to ask?" Yugyeom brought everyone back to the topic. "Under what circumstances?"

"Depends on what we're going to do on the next date." Mark shrugged.

"You have nothing planned?"

"Do I need to?" Mark questioned honestly.

Six pair of eyes shared glances again.

"You need a how to propose 101 book."

Everyone nodded at Jackson's words.

"You need our help."

Again, everyone nodded at this time, Jinyoung's words.

"Really tho, how did you manage to get Nayeon to be your girlfriend again? It's been five years, I can't remember." Bambam asked in a very genuine curious way.

"She was the one who confessed and I agreed because you know, I do like her."

Six of their jaws dropped slightly at Mark's words. Bambam sighed after a second; Jaebum closed his eyes in defeat; Jinyoung facepalmed himself; Jackson dropped his forehead onto the table; Yugyeom snorted and Youngjae could only shake his head.

"What?"

' i needed a break from a full chaptered story. so while i am still writing that, i wanted to do a side project. none of the parts will be long, it will just be a short drabble series. including this introduction, there would only be 8 parts to this story.

first attempt of doing humour! wish me luck!
