Moving down in that elevator Baekhyun felt his heart start beating a little differently then the usual, is he sick again? But he is sure he took a rest. He look at his reflection inside that elevator mirror. just staring at himself for the whole ride down till he heard the ‘beep’ and the door opened

 

He move to the hall and saw his step brother there getting ready again, it was 10:00 now, he stopped near the door to see everyone who was now having intentions in the wooden stage there, all the cameras and the reporters holding their mics to that direction waiting..

 

“Massive amount of questions are waiting you”

 

Baekhyun turn to look at Kyungsoo who was standing near him, he nodded a little looking back at the step brother

 

“Why you never told us?” Kyungsoo asked “you have no idea how much Jongdae felt hurt as your supposed to be his best friend”

 

Baekhyun shrugs “because if he knew he won’t be my best friend at that time, he should understand that”

 

Kyungsoo look at him in anger “how you can say that? Don’t judge him”

Baekhyun look at him “and what if I did and he end up as I said? Kyungsoo life is the best decision you made for your own good”

Kyungsoo roll his eyes “And leaving Chanyeol like a crazy was your best decision?”

 

Baekhyun hesitate at first but he said “he never said it”

 

Kyungsoo take out a laugh of sarcasm “am sure he did, he told me everything baekhyun and he did while I was his boyfriend he break up with me the day you left imagine that!”

 

Baekhyun look at Kyungsoo “Sorry about that!”

 

Kyungsoo shake his head a no a wide smile now was on his face “Am glad he did because Jongin was there to comfort me and things developed between us”

 

Baekhyun eyes got wide open he smiled unconsciously thinking of that Jongin the guy was cool he remember he met him just for a month but he felt like a best friend already

 

“Ladies and gentlemen the B.U.N president”

 

“You go for it Byun” Kyungsoo said hitting him on the shoulder and Baekhyun nodded moving to the little stage there, everyone was shocked he can feel that, lights and flashlights of the cameras were following his sight

 

He stand with a confident smile looking at everyone, the mics were ready for him to speak, he said...

 

“Welcome to the BBH-hotel, first I want to apologize for the last day incident, and the time you took to relocate, also i want to welcome everyone here today for celebrating the 50th anniversary of the B.U.N company”

 

The people start to clap, the etiquettes of speech as usual, and Baekhyun continue

 

“This press conference been hold for all to know how we try our best collaborating with each other to make a better marketing out there with the name of our country making it name known and better and am glad and proud I play a role in those achievement”

 

Other louder clap was now coming from the companies that the words definitely made them proud

 

“I won’t say much more just another thank you for all your hard work, so please if you have any questions”

 

And that was the sign for the reporters to start asking one by one 

 

A reporter : Mr.Byun as we know you took the company lead 4 years now why you showing up your face to the media now? What you were afraid of

 

Baekhyun smiled “it not a matter of being afraid, it the matter of can i take the lights from my oldest since I was young? people don’t like to have deals with a 20 years boy who just have a company as an heritage trust me on that” 

 

The reporters smiled and a faint laughs heard from the guests

 

Another reporter: so you think that people like that won’t judge you saying you born with a Golden spoon

 

Baekhyun nodded “Am sure the shares and gains can clearly answer that question, even if I did born with one I might be bad at work” he said and his eyes went to the door where Chanyeol came in with his suit and arranged hair, smiling when their eyes met and moving to sit next a table

 

A reporter: Sir, what about the rumors that you were chased out from the family! Because for the past 25 years we didn’t know the Byun’s have another son.

 

Baekhyun know the questions would switch to personal ones, reporters like to do that, also so many enemies want him to make his reputation bad “since childhood I like to have my own life so I stayed out of the media and glad my family supported me to have what I want” 

 

Chanyeol look at him with frowning eyebrows because he know they didn’t

 

 

The same reporter: if your family supporting you, there was a rumor about your step brother stealing money from your company?

 

Baekhyun raise an eyebrow looking at the reporter “well how can you steal from something you own?” He said looking at his step brother who was nervously standing there

 

The reporters look at each other with nervous, like they want to make a fuss but the answers Baekhyun gave were making them turning in circles of nothingness

 

A reporter asked: I noticed that you came here in a sport car with the past 3 years swimming championship winner and the new musical hit producer! What your relationship?

 

Baekhyun eyes got wide open looking at Chanyeol he didn’t though he will go that far in the swimming “he is a childhood friend I met after years and thank you for telling me his achievements because we didn’t reach that part of ‘recalling what you did in the past years’ yet”

 

The laughs heard again, and Baekhyun smiled too

 

The same reporter asks again: Mr.Byun you never been in your parents memorial before why?

 

And Baekhyun heard the word parents made his face having this mad expression 

 

Another one asked: you know what the reason for them suiciding?

Another one: why they never show you to the media the day you born?

Another : Mr.Byun the report of the police said that the location of the suiciding was this hotel is it true?

Another: did you get affected by them suicide that you decide to live alone?

Another: sir, An informer told me that you have the same symptoms at what your parents have, depression, hallucinations is that true?

 

 

Chanyeol look at how the reporters were about to eat him with the non-stop questions when he hesitate for a slide of second there, he saw a confused but angry Baekhyun standing there, looking at them one by one, he start to get concerned...the whole world now know about him, about his life, they will search, he will be the topic of the month, no wonder he didn’t want to be famous since day one, no wonder he lived in the shadows 

 

A reporter: are you willing to answer those questions sir!

 

Baekhyun look at them one by one, he hate how curiously people are, how they want to make money from someone else life, but his eyes landed on that face, that familiar face he saw looking at him and nodding to him like he remembering him the last words he said to him, that his there for him

 

Baekhyun nodded slowly “what my parents did or why they did it? am sure I can’t ask them now, but the only thing I know is what they did was wrong and since it a live board I can advice people that taking your own life isn’t the best solution, try to stay stronger and fight with all what you guys got not for you, no, for those who loves you because it can affect them too” with the said words Baekhyun take a step back and bow with “please suit yourselves in the celebration” and left the reporters asking other questions,

 

Chanyeol look at him leaving the hall, the reporters want to chase him but Kyungsoo and his co-workers didn’t let them go out, he stand but got grabbed by Rain “where are you going? We need to find new deals!”

 

Chanyeol bow in apologizing way “am sorry but you can do it I trust you” and left the hall, easily being left to pass by Kyungsoo, and following Baekhyun who now went in the elevator. As fast as he can he run to go in and he get at the last moment.

 

“Chanyeol!” Baekhyun said surprised 

“You running again?” Chanyeol asked “I can’t let you” he said pushing the 120 button 

“My flight is in two hours” Baekhyun said “i want to take a rest before I leave”

 

Chanyeol shrugs “okay I will just take my suitcase” 

 

And Baekhyun look serious at him “aren’t you going too far?” 

Chanyeol look down holding his hand behind his back and sadly he said “I know you will leave for sure because that your life now, I know i can’t reach that position of yours, but can’t I stay with you for the remain two hours?”

 

Baekhyun roll his eyes “aren’t you already here!” He said and move with the elevator door opening and get in his old house, gaining a very happy face from Chanyeol who followed him like a happy puppy

 

Baekhyun move to his room, he didn’t close the door, he let it open and throw his body on the bed, Chanyeol stand next the open door, hesitating at first, but he step in and didn’t get a refuse from Baekhyun from doing that.

All the way to his bed and sits in the far edge of that almost triple sized bed, looking at how Baekhyun close his eyes to rest them. he unconsciously smiled looking at how calmly his features look, how small his body look, how much he went through but he still stand and show the best image he can give “Are you okay?” Chanyeol asked he had to ask because he saw him moving his hands and rubbing his eyes.

 

“Those reporters are really something! Trying to break me by my parents story! Unbelievable”

 

Chanyeol asked “is what they said true?”

Baekhyun nodded “every single word!”

Chanyeol eyes got wide open “did they..” He said but stopped not wanting to say the word

But Baekhyun huffs “yes! First my mom! She bring me here when I was 5 the building was still empty just rooms and no fourniture, she said that this is my hotel and this is my place, and we came up here, she open this place the only room who have fourniture was the closed room now, there she take a nap and a 5 years old me took a nap next to her”

 

Chanyeol touched his heart unconsciously because he know what happened at the age of 5 to his mother

 

“When I wake up she was holding a knife laughing and laughed hysterically she took my arm and cut it, I remember I cried but not because of the pain because I saw her sliding that knife on and lot of blood was coming out, and that trauma born at that moment”

 

“Baekhyun!” Chanyeol said with a sorrowful voice, he can’t handle the story his heart was hurting when he saw him saying things like that without even shedding one tear

 

“Father found us after, but he changed, even when he got married he become worse, after years he left the main house and didn’t come back, I remember grand father search for him, but he never came back, not wanting to stay there I take the driver and came here, I saw the door slightly opened, that same door, I could swear that I heard father saying “come in” I run with a happy face because he came here a place belong to just me but when I open the door I found him already hanging himself from the ceiling, just a dead body”

 

Chanyeol wanted to hold him tightly now, but he can’t, he can’t just do that, he said he will take it slow, and hugging him isn’t a good option when he is in that sleep position “Am...” he wanted to say something to comfort him but what he should say? what he can possibly say to make a person feel better in a situation like this

 

“I think I have a headache!” Baekhyun said touching his head and that made Chanyeol heart beat fast, scared if he is sick again “should I call a doctor?” He asked “any meds?” He asked again 

 

Baekhyun move to a sitting position this time he look at Chanyeol and shake his head “no am fine”

 

Chanyeol nodded looking back at him he stand maybe is the best option to leave him rest “go to sleep I will wake you after..” he said but Chanyeol stopped when he heard Baekhyun talking 

 

“Chanyeol”

 

Staying in silence again like he was in the car before, Chanyeol waited...standing there, he waited...and waited...but when Baekhyun didn’t say a thing again he just nodded and turn to leave the room 

 

 

An hour had past now, Chanyeol did wait near that pool, where he first time woke up seeing himself as Baekhyun he smiled thinking of the past, till he heard Baekhyun coming with “my driver called the car is waiting”

 

Chanyeol stand nodding and move with him till he was now at the elevator doors

 

The two were looking at each other in silent again “thanks” Baekhyun said gaining a nodded from Chanyeol and he turn to click on the elevator button 

 

“Why your here!”

 

Chanyeol look at Baekhyun who was looking at the elevator like he was avoiding the gaze “I already told you Baekhyun” he replied “I love you! And I wanted to meet you to tell you that I was an idiot for what I did, I was and idiot for not telling you that I love you even if I thought your a playboy at that moment, maybe I couldn’t but when you left I realized that I was late! And I tried reaching you but no you were beyond reaching” 

 

Baekhyun heard how Chanyeol was saying that with a sad voice, a voice that he can feel honesty in it, a voice that he can feel hurt from it, he smiled a little smile “Am I That hard to reach?”

 

“Yes”

 

“Did you search for me?”

 

“Yes”

 

“Did you wait?”

 

“No”

 

And that make Baekhyun turn to look at him

 

“I couldn’t wait” Chanyeol explain “I work hard to reach you, but I take too much time, and if you didn’t come I may have taking longer because of how poor I am comparing to you”

 

Baekhyun chuckles to himself when he heard that, but then he stopped “you know I can’t come back here”

 

Chanyeol nodded slowly this time because he know how much he is famous and he can’t let his business and come back to him

 

“You know even if I accept your feelings I can’t live here” Baekhyun said again

 

And Chanyeol look at him with a blank expression when he hear that acceptance word

 

“Chanyeol, my life it will be more hard now, reporters, media, work and work and work”

 

But Chanyeol shrugs “it’s okay Baekhyun I know you can’t be with me”

 

Baekhyun nodded and get inside the elevator “thanks for telling me Chanyeol, Please have a good live”

 

That was the last words he heard from him before the door elevator closed. And that the exact same time when Chanyeol break down on the floor crying his heart out, knowing that he just got accepted but the world rejected their relationship, 

 

he know Baekhyun can’t leave everything now, and he know he can’t reach him...

Arriving to his house Chanyeol didn’t speak to anyone, he move to his room, and close the door on him, his mom start to hear his sobs, she know he went to meet Baekhyun and crying like that is definitely rejection, she look at her boys who were sitting on the dinner table

 

“Am not going to call him for dinner” Minho said immediately and the twins laugh at his comment 

“Trust me little brothers no one in the world can enter that room for days now” Jungwoo said drinking his juice not caring to wait

“My son having it hard” their mother said and sits on the table “let pray for your brother kids”

 

“If I meet Baekhyun I will hit him hard for making my brother cry” taehyun said 

“I will catch him for you” Jaehyun replied

“And he will sue you and you guys will go to jail forever because it will be his own Jail!” Jungwoo comment “the guy is rich as f***”

“Manners!” His mother said looking daggers at him for saying the bad word

“Sorry mom sorry Minho!” 

 

 

The 5 start eating their dinner now but they heard a door bell 

“Father?” Minho asked and run to the door opening it “m..mooom!!!”

 

He screamed and that made his mother run to the door to look at the boy who bow at her in front in the door “Baekhyun” she said and that name made the 3 on the dinner table run to the door to see 

 

The mother couldn’t say a thing, she just nodded and hit Minho to go up and call Chanyeol, the kid run up stairs and knocked the door with a very loud thuds screaming “mother mother” like something happened to her, and that made Chanyeol open the door immediately with his red and watery eyes and asked “what happened!” He saw Minho running down stairs and Chanyeol run after him, but before he reach the end of the stairs it show clearly the door now and who was standing there.

 

Chanyeol couldn’t believe it, he couldn’t believe his eyes, his body couldn’t handle his weight now he sit on the stairs and start sobbing and crying his heart out, hiding his face between his arms. 

 

Baekhyun smiled at how he was crying for him,  he know that he was right in trusting him, if he cry in your back then he love you for real right? He move inside to him and went up those little stairs remain and leans down next to him “I love you too” he whispers touching Chanyeol blond hair, playing with it, and that made Chanyeol look at him, his eyes were still shedding tears, with the sobs he heard him asking

 

“You said you can’t come back here!”

 

Baekhyun shrugs “I came for you”

 

“You said you can’t live here?”

 

Baekhyun smiled “i want to live with you”

 

“Isn’t your live will be harder?” Chanyeol asked again

 

“Can’t you make it more easier if you are in it??” Baekhyun answered but more like asked

 

And that when Chanyeol jump on his lips kissing him non stop, he even let Baekhyun lose his balance on those stairs form the action but he catches him as fast as he can not leaving those lips that easily, till he was out of breath, he touched his face now and look at the smiling little face in his palm 

 

“I love you Baekhyun I really do”

 

 

“Emm..boys” his mother said “what should we do to those reporters outside?”

“Are we famous now?” Minho asked looking at the two

And Baekhyun laughed with “Am sorry” still on Chanyeol hold “I think they followed me!”

“We can get use to it” Chanyeol said kissing his cheeks

“Hey Suho! What’s up!”

 

Suho look at who was appearing in front of him out of nowhere “hey Lay!”

 

Lay look at Chanyeol house and sit next Suho on a roof top where he was sitting on it with wide open eyes “are they together finally?”

 

Suho nodded “yes after five human years I finally succeeded”

Lay laugh and a paper show up out of nowhere in front of him “I make 367 couple confess to each other in the past five years and one of them were Jongdae and Xuimin”

 

Suho roll his eyes “you like to throw arrows of love from the first look, i don’t!!! also you know we can’t control someone out of our zone! What can I do if that human Baekhyun travels!”

 

Lay shrugs “you should have succeeded before he travel Suho! you are lazy Cupid”

 

Suho roll his eyes 

 

“But switching was fun to see I admit it, you keep surprising me with those ideas of yours!” Lay added “whos your next target and what you will do this time!” He said while that paper disappeared 

 

Suho smiled “I have a new couple, look easy this time their name Sehun and Luhan but this time am not going to switch am going to...” he stopped 

 

“What?” Lay asked

 

But he gain a wink from Suho 

 

 

“it’s a secret”
