Hi guys. Authornim here.  Just want to let you know that the next one would be the last chapter of the First Arc. There will be a Second one :)

Mina's POV 

April 17. The first time I saw her again after 3 weeks of nothing.

She is right there. At the front of my house. Wearing an apologetic smile.

I approached her, running………. And

SLAP!

“Ow……”
“WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?”
“Uhm….. I …. Uhhh…” she was looking everywhere but me. Then she looked at her car.
“Right! Yeah, I…. Uhm……. W-worked on some paper at the company……. Just to…. Uhm…… FOR MY SCHOLAR! Yeah! That's right. Haha….. for the oxford…*gulps* thing.”

Since I can't contain my feelings, I haven't notice the patch on her forehead, a red stain in the middle.

“What happened to you?” I asked softly while reaching for the wound.

She stopped my hand from touching it.

“I uh….. I bought a motorcycle. I lost balance.”

She is wearing a loose shirt so I saw purple spot on her body…. Is that…..

I pulled the shirt slightly to see it clearly

“What the hell Chaeyoung. I am sure that losing balance in a motorcycle does NOT get you those kind of bruises!”

“I'm fine Mina. Just some bruise. It's……. Uh……. From the practice. Yes. That's from the practice with Uncle Chou.”

I know she's lying………

“Are you……….” I squinted my eyes and sigh.

“Nevermind.” I left her and started walking on the way to school.

“Yah! Where are you going!” she shouted.

“To the school.”

“Let me take you!” 

“No thanks. Son Chaeyoung.” And walked farther away.

I am now nearing the bus stop when her car stopped ahead of me.

She stepped out, pulled me and almost stuffed ne on the passenger seat.

“YAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?” I screamed when she returned to the driver's seat.

“Wow. Never thought you could be that loud.” She buckled my belt after doing hers and stepped on the gas.

It was a silent ride halfway to school.

She was the one who broke the silence.

“I'm sorry………. I really did things for my scholarship….. I even went to oxford myself to find a place to stay…..” 

“….”

“And….. uh….. ,I will make it up to you? I will give you the keys to my everything. I am….. really sorry.”

“Phone is a thing…. Chaeyoung.”

She gulped audibly “I'm sorry.”

She stopped on the entrance of the university.

“You're not coming?” I asked.

She shook her head.

“Hey….. uh…. Are you free this afternoon?” she asked.

I opened my mouth to say yes but then I remembered Yeri…
I have to meet her.

No.I must! Meet her.

3rd POV
Yesterday night.

She was currently drying her hair when her  eyes caught the thick folder.

‘What is that…….’

On the first page, there, was a picture of Bambam along with his current personal information.

‘Nothing unusual… oh? He's Lisa's brother? Lisa Manoban? Make sense that he came from a powerful family.’

Then the next page.

Bambam Manoban's Death certificate.

‘What the heck? What is this?’

She flipped to the next. And to the next. And to the next. Till the last….

She dropped the papers, shaking, and fear evident in her eyes.

How could someone fake their identity and steal a death person's life?
What is his true identity? Why is it not included here. 

Then she remembered a whole letter, containing bambam's plan.

He planned to make the two drift apart and he will make it happen whatever kind of way he have to do, he will do it. By any means. Including killing Chaeyoung.

That is why Yerin wrote for her.

She told her the plan. And she have to cooperate. To avoid more life sacrifices. To avoid her worst nightmare. To avoid Chaeyoung being gone forever.

She doesn't want to. But she will do it.

She scattered all the paper with the complete information for the plan.

The places. The dates and time. 

She must meet Yerin.

Current time.

“I'm sorry. I have classes. In the afternoon.” She lied. “Maybe tonight? If possible?”

Chaeyoung winced. “I can't. I guess we won't be able to spend time together today.” She smiled sadly.

Guilt rose to her heart. “I'm sorry…”

“No! It's okay. I understand. Uhm. Take care?” 

Mina pecked her lips before leaving. “take care.”

She can't concentrate the whole day. 
She even doesn't have an appetite.

She suddenly stood up causing the rest of the gang to look at her.

“I'm done eating.”

“But. You didn't even touch your lunch.” Momo

“You want it?”

Momo chuckled. “Thought you will never ask.”

I rolled my eyes and bid goodbye to them.

It's still an hour early before meeting Yeri so I wandered around the premises of the school.

Then I saw her again……… Chaeyoung….. with Yeri…….

She felt like someone stabbed her heart seeing the two together.

They were not laughing but they were talking seriously.

They were too close for Mina's comfort.

She clenched her teeth. She wants to go there and take what is hers. 

But something is holding her back.

Maybe because the don't look like they're enjoying themselves.

Maybe they are talking about oxford.

But the thing that hurt her, is how Chaeyoung didn't tell her she was here.

It's lunch for godsake. They could have eaten together.

She took a step back….. and another……. Then sprinted to the choir's room.

She tried to not cry. She held it all in.

She wants to release all of her frustration.

But maybe after this plan.

She was determines to execute it smoothly.

She was so deep into her thoughts that she didn't notice Yeri approaching her.

“Are you ready?” Yeri asked.

Mina nodded.

“Okay.” She inhaled deeply before telling her the plan.

...

“And with that. We could push him away from you.” Yeri ended.

“How sure are you this is gonna work?” Mina asked.

“So sure. He told me himself that he hates it when someone sends signal to him but then ignore him the next day.”

“In short…..”

“He hates playgirls.” Both of them said at the same time.

Mina sighs. “And…….. it will start tomorrow? And everyday till the 23rd?”

“It doesn't exactly gonna start tomorrow. You just have to make yourself noticeable. And the next day….. boom. He will ask you and follow you. You just have to make yourself hard to get and approve at the end.”

“…..”

“Scared?” Yeri asked.

Mina nodded.

“You will be fine. If you are worried about me and Chaeyoung? Nothing is gonna happen. She has you! I saw the way she looks at you and how she admires you. Nothing can break that. Not even me. Her first love.” She dry laughed at the end.

“Will you promise to take care of her at oxford?”

“I promise. We will try to go home as fast as we can. I'm scared to have him be with you here. Alone…….
Just. Whenever I do something to Chaeyoung. I will tell you this now. In advance. That was not me. That is Bambam. Those fake actions for my own life.” She smiled sincerely.

But fear still evident in her eyes.

“All right" she stood up.

We we're crouching on the floor to look at all the papers containing the information we needed.

“I gotta go home now. You. Take care of yourself.”

Mina nodded and cleaned their mess.

Yeri has already gone home when Mina went out of the university.

She decided to stop by a convenience store to buy something to drink.

She is hella thirsty from all the talking.

And unexpectedly, she ran through the person she hated the most.

She tried to ignore him and went straight to the drinks.

She took a carton of milk. And some snacks. Then went to the counter.

Unexpectedly, someone also put their things on the counter.

“I will pay for her too.” 

She looked at him.

She wants to shout at him.

The innocent façade he was holding will not work anymore.

Then she remembered the plan.

It won't hurt to start early. Right?

So instead of getting mad. She composed herself.

“Thank you.” She put up her fakest gummy smile everyone would ever seen.

Bambam was shocked at first. Then chuckled.

“Wow. This is the first time you didn't snarled at me.”

This is it. 

She let out her best acting skill.

She sigh “I just don't want anymore trouble. I had enough for this day.”

“Want to talk about it?”

“It's fine.”

Mina took her things after getting scanned.

She thanked bambam once again and head out.

“Hey!”

She stopped.

‘Mina. This is for Chaeyoung. Stay. Cool.’

She put up her fake smile again and turned around

“Yes?”

“Can I…….uh…. Have your number?”

Mina gulped. 

“Number?”

Bambam nodded.

Mina approached Bambam aagain.
She smiled. And said. “No.”

Then ran out.

Bambam chuckled and shookt his head. 

He had his phone out and called his ‘partner'

“It's working. Keep occupying Chaeyoung. Can't believe she did something cute to me. See you when I see you.” He hung up.

On the otherside of the Phonecall.

The girl put down her phone after Bambam hung up and looked at the person beside her.

“It's working…..”

“……”

“Are you really sure about this? I can't believe that all of this is your plan.”

“…..”

“Well. We just have to wait till the d-day to know of your plan really works.”

This person wore a serious face and  jumped down from the second floor.

“See you.” Yeri watched that person walk away.
